Your career is a testament to your diverse experiences, community involvement, and the valuable lessons you've learned along the way. You are more than just your resume; you are a reflection of your achievements, the knowledge you've gained, and the personal interests that shape who you are.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a strategic and technically strong Director of Commercial Analytics & Business Intelligence to elevate how we use data to drive sales performance and revenue growth. This role will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance leadership to develop and scale the analytics ecosystem that powers go-to-market (GTM) decisions, pipeline forecasting, and quota attainment insights.
You will lead the design and delivery of dashboards, performance metrics, and predictive models that directly inform how we grow. This is not just a BI role—it’s a key seat at the table helping the business make smarter, faster decisions.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Commercial Analytics Strategy

  • Serve as the strategic owner of all analytics related to Sales and Commercial performance.

  • Develop and maintain high-impact dashboards that track pipeline health, forecast accuracy, win/loss trends, quota attainment, and rep productivity.

  • Partner closely with Sales and RevOps leadership to identify growth opportunities and shape go-to-market decisions using data.

  • Build intuitive, self-service tools that empower sales leaders to track performance and drive accountability.

Cross-Functional Data Partnership

  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Finance, RevOps, Product, Technology, and IT to ensure unified commercial reporting.

  • Align Snowflake data architecture with Salesforce and GTM systems—ensuring the right objects, fact tables, and dimensions are in place.

  • Translate evolving business needs into scalable data requirements and reporting frameworks.

  • Champion data consistency, accuracy, and clarity across commercial metrics and KPIs.

Sales Forecasting & Process Optimization

  • Improve sales forecasting accuracy and pipeline transparency through data-driven models and methodologies.

  • Identify funnel bottlenecks and drive performance improvement through insight-led recommendations.

  • Apply data storytelling to help senior executives make faster, smarter, and more confident decisions.

What You’ll Bring to Zelis

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in business intelligence, revenue analytics, or commercial data strategy—ideally within B2B tech, healthcare, or GTM-facing environments.

  • Deep understanding of sales processes, pipeline dynamics, quota modeling, and forecasting methodology.

  • Advanced skills in Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma; strong dashboard design and storytelling capabilities.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, SQL, and Microsoft Azure; Python or scripting language proficiency preferred.

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive and non-technical audiences.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders with credibility and clarity.

Preferred Education

  • Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
