We’re building a smarter way to eat, drink, and explore your city — one that helps local restaurants thrive and makes the experience more rewarding for everyone.

We’re a fast-moving, high-ownership team that values creativity and execution. The category is dynamic and fun, and we're building a brand that reflects that energy. If you're the kind of person who has big ideas and makes them happen, we’d love to hear from you

About the Role

Franki is looking for a Digital Designer to help shape the future of our product and brand. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll design intuitive user experiences, elevate our visual identity, and build scalable design systems that power everything from our mobile app to our marketing campaigns.

You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and the Head of Design to solve complex user problems, bring new features to life, and ensure every interaction with Franki feels thoughtful, engaging, and beautifully crafted.

This role is ideal for a designer who combines exceptional visual design skills with strong product thinking. You'll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, establish design standards, mentor other designers, and help shape the creative direction of a fast-growing startup.

If you're passionate about creating products people love, thrive in collaborative environments, and enjoy turning ideas into polished experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:
  • Design intuitive, user-centered experiences across Franki's mobile and web products.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished high-fidelity interfaces from concept through launch.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define user experiences and deliver exceptional product features.
  • Build and maintain scalable Figma component libraries and design systems.
  • Create visual assets that support Franki's brand across product, marketing, and customer touchpoints.
  • Design motion graphics, micro-interactions, and animations that enhance the user experience.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop creative assets for campaigns, social media, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct design reviews, communicate design rationale, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Help establish design standards, workflows, and best practices that improve quality and consistency.
  • Mentor junior and contract designers while fostering a collaborative design culture.
  • Stay current on emerging design trends, AI-powered creative tools, and evolving UX best practices.
You're a good fit if you have...
  • 4+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital design.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional product design, visual design, and interaction design work.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and component-based design systems.
  • Experience designing consumer-facing mobile or web applications.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, responsive design, and information architecture.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent visual communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading design projects with minimal direction.
  • A passion for creating elegant, scalable experiences that delight users.
Bonus points if you have...
  • Experience designing marketplace, social, or consumer mobile applications.
  • Experience working in startup or high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience with motion design tools such as After Effects, Lottie, or Rive.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and creative workflows.
  • Experience developing brand systems and marketing design assets.
  • Experience mentoring designers or contributing to design leadership.
Why Join Franki?
  • Help shape the product experience for a rapidly growing consumer marketplace.
  • Work across product, brand, and marketing while making a visible impact on the business.
  • Influence product direction, design systems, and the evolution of Franki's visual identity.
