What this job involves: 

Join JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group as an Analyst supporting the debt capital markets team in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate finance transactions. This role requires hospitality and real estate finance experience while working independently to prepare presentations, financing memorandums, and asset valuations. You'll manage due diligence processes, perform debt sizing analysis, and facilitate client communications on technical matters. This position offers comprehensive exposure to hospitality real estate transactions including financial modeling, legal document review, and marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

What your day-to-day will look like: 

  • Support Hotels & Hospitality Group team members in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate finance transactions 
  • Independently prepare presentations, financing memorandums, and miscellaneous reports while reviewing financial data inputs from P&L statements and STR reports
  • Perform debt sizing analysis and manage collection of necessary due diligence materials for new campaigns 
  • Complete preliminary asset valuations using DCF, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales, and construction cost techniques 
  • Facilitate the closing due diligence processes 
  • Execute limited client-facing communications on technical level and assist in marketing campaigns including CRM management 

Required Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS Degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, and/or Real Estate Finance 
  • Strong record of academic achievement 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining rapport with a team 
  • Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years real estate banking and/or commercial mortgage experience preferred 
  • Hospitality-industry specific work experience with focus on finance, accounting, or valuations 
  • Ability to work within formal reporting relationships 
  • Flexibility to work after normal business hours and weekends as needed 
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to travel domestically

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

60,000.00 – 95,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
