Job summary
brightfin's sales team is growing, and the systems and processes behind it need to grow with it. The CRM & Ops Analyst owns the day-to-day health of brightfin's CRM (Zoho) and the operational backbone that supports the sales team: clean data, reliable reporting, and processes that hold up as headcount increases. You'll be the person sales, sales leadership, and cross-functional partners in marketing, finance, and customer success turn to when they need the pipeline data or process to be right the first time.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role at a company still building its sales operations function from a small base — expect to work close to the details, not just the strategy.
Essential functions
CRM administration (Zoho)
- Own day-to-day administration of Zoho CRM: user and role management, workflow and automation configuration, field and layout changes, and third-party integrations.
- Creation of new automations to support increased deal volume as the company scales.
- Maintain data integrity — deduplication, validation rules, and routine audits — so pipeline, account, and contact data can be trusted.
- Document CRM configuration and processes so they're repeatable as the sales team scales.
Sales operations support
- Support pipeline management, forecasting, and quota tracking for the sales team.
- Support the deal desk approval process — tracking deal terms and approvals and flagging exceptions for Sales Operations and Finance.
- Manage lead routing and territory assignment rules in partnership with marketing and sales leadership.
- Execute post-sale deals processing for handoff to finance and customer success.
- Use of AI tools to increase sales and marketing efficiency.
Reporting and analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering pipeline health, funnel conversion, quota attainment, and other core sales KPIs.
- Prepare recurring reporting for sales leadership, and ad hoc analysis to support board and leadership-level questions.
- Identify trends and process breakdowns in the data and bring them to Sales Operations leadership with a recommendation, not just a chart.
Cross-functional coordination
- Partner with marketing on lead handoff and campaign tracking inside the CRM.
- Partner with customer success and finance on renewal and account data continuity as deals move from sales to post-sale.
- Serve as a point of contact for sales reps on day-to-day CRM questions and requests.
- Cross-train with Sales Operations on order form & contract generation, board & leadership collateral preparation, sales onboarding, and sales training.
Qualifications
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, CRM administration, or a business/data analyst role.
- Hands-on CRM administration experience — Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or a comparable platform. Zoho experience is a strong plus given brightfin's stack.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment preferred.
- Experience with sales onboarding & training a plus.
Skills and competencies
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfortable building dashboards in tools like Zoho Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- High attention to detail and a strong bias toward clean, trustworthy data.
- Process-minded — able to document and improve a workflow, not just execute it.
- Comfortable in a small, fast-moving operations team where the function is still being built.
- SQL/lead flow proficiency is a plus, not a requirement.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Direct Zoho CRM administration experience.
- Experience supporting a deal desk or deal-approval workflow.
- Experience at a PE-backed or growth-stage SaaS company.
- Familiarity with IT spend management, FinOps, TEM, or ITFM, or the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Compensation & Benefits:
- brightfin offers a comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits package.
- Paid time off. We strongly believe in work-life balance and taking time for yourself.
- 401K with employer match
- Compensation Range: $60,000 - $70,000 / Year
Location: Remove first company, US-Based
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
