Our Content Systems Workflow team needs additional support to keep pace with file fulfillment, archiving, and copyright operations across the business. In this role, you'll help manage the day-to-day flow of content requests, archive quality control, and copyright registration tasks that keep our content systems running smoothly. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, providing steady operational support for a team that touches nearly every part of the content lifecycle.
Reporting to the Sr. Content Manager, Workflow Optimization, your work directly supports the accuracy, accessibility, and legal integrity of Macmillan Learning's content assets.
Scope of Services
- You'll coordinate file fulfillment requests, including international requests, and locate content files as needed.
- You'll manage relationships with Electronic File Request vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- You'll conduct DAM archiving quality control, including metadata review and archive board maintenance.
- You'll support vendor review processes tied to digital asset management.
- You'll coordinate the copyright registration process, including deposit copy management and end-to-end tracking.
- You'll assist with business support tasks such as content reports and errata documentation.
- You'll support litigation-related work, including file gathering and copyright research.
- You'll assist with CMS collection management to support common stakeholder searches.
- You'll provide Coursera support by pulling relevant data and content files.
Expected Deliverables and Outcomes
- File Fulfillment Tracking: Timely, accurate responses to file requests, including international requests, with clear vendor coordination records.
- DAM Archive QC Reports: Completed metadata and archive reviews, with an up-to-date vendor review board.
- Copyright Registration Tracking: Organized, end-to-end tracking of registration status and deposit copy management.
- Business & Litigation Support Documentation: Accurate content reports, errata logs, and litigation-related file and research packages.
- CMS & Coursera Data Support: Reliable collection searches and data/file pulls to support stakeholder and Coursera requests.
Required Capabilities
- Demonstrated attention to detail when managing files, metadata, and records across multiple systems.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple requests and processes simultaneously.
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential materials, including litigation-related content, with discretion.
- Effective written communication for reports, documentation, and vendor coordination.
Preferred Capabilities
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and archiving workflows.
- Experience with copyright registration processes or intellectual property administration.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and collection search tools.
- Experience supporting publishing, educational content, or edtech operations.
