Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FuzeRx will serve as the strategic operational leader for our comprehensive digital pharmacy division. Reporting directly to the CEO of FuzeRx, you will provide executive oversight for the end-to-end operational engine of the business, including warehouse and fulfillment centers, patient services, facilities, and workforce planning.
This is a transformational leadership role responsible for harmonizing operations across acquired entities, driving operational excellence, and ensuring a seamless, patient-centric experience at scale. You will manage a large, diverse team of operations leaders and work cross-functionally to maximize revenue, profitability, and efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operational Leadership: Integral to the C-suite team at FuzeRx and drive outcomes for the business. Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies that maximize revenue and profitability for pharmacy operations. Align operational goals with customer preferences and broader corporate objectives.
Safety: Operate a safe, secure and compliant environment, aiming for highest regulatory compliance standards.
Industry & Competitive Advantage: Drive operational innovation to transform execution, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
End-to-End Oversight: Provide executive leadership for all operational functions, including Fulfillment Operations, Facilities, Workforce Planning, Vendor Management, and Patient Services.
Operational Excellence & Harmonization: Lead the development and implementation of unified processes and standards to ensure operational excellence across all locations. Drive the harmonization of operations from multiple acquired businesses into a single, efficient ecosystem.
Patient Experience: Create and maintain a differentiated customer experience that drives loyalty, satisfaction, and repeat business. Ensure that operational efficiency never comes at the cost of patient care.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and distribution processes to meet demand and minimize stock-outs while optimizing inventory turnover.
Team Leadership & Development: Drive staff development initiatives, including training, performance management, and talent acquisition. Build a highly engaged, inclusive environment for a large-scale operations workforce.
Performance Management: Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, including quality measures. Leverage data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Finance to align operations with overall business strategies.
Strategic Partnerships: Critical leader and partner with external partners (customers, partners, investors, industry stakeholders. Play a central role in M&A activities including operational diligence, synergy identification, and post-merger execution.
Required Experience & Qualifications
15+ years of progressive operations experience, with at least 8+ years of executive leadership experience (VP/SVP/C-Level).
Industry Experience: Proven track record in the med-tech, pharmaceutical, or digital health industry is required. Experience in a combined B2B and B2C operational environment is highly preferred.
M&A & Harmonization: Proven success in harmonizing operations from multiple businesses or integrating acquired entities into a centralized operational model.
Scale & Workforce Management: Deep understanding of best practices for inventory management and workforce planning, with specific experience leading and scaling large operations workforces.
Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic planning abilities with a history of developing operational strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Data-Driven Leadership: An analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. MBA or PharmD is strongly preferred.
Travel: Ability to travel domestically for site visits, leadership meetings, and customer engagements.
Work Environment
Location: Remote / Home Office setting with standard office hours.
Flexibility: Some flexibility in scheduling is necessary to accommodate site visits, executive meetings, and events.
Travel: Domestic travel required for site visits (warehouse/fulfillment centers), leadership, and customer meetings.
Additional Information
This position requires occasional travel therefore you must be able to sit for extended periods of time on airplanes and/or in vehicles, lift and carry luggage independently, navigate long distances through airports and other travel locations independently, and adjust to different time zones and climates.
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary Range: $265,000 - $400,000
