Local Vehicle Transporter

 

COMPENSATION: Starting at $30hr 

We are looking for an experienced CDL Class A Licensed Driver to join our Pickup and Delivery Team here at Mercedes-Benz of Westminster.  The perfect candidate will be able to load and unload a 2 car trailer that will be pulled by a brand new Ford F350, this candidate will make local runs around the Denver Metro area, North to Fort Collins/Loveland, South to Colorado Springs and Pueblo and into the Front Range to service our customers in Vail, Aspen, Silverthorne and Glenwood Springs.  This is a full time position that will have varying hours dependent on daily business scheduling between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday through Friday.  The perfect candidate needs to be outgoing and friendly and be willing to interact with our clientele and offer a truly exceptional experience each and every time. 


Minimum Requirements:

  • 25 years of age or older
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
  • License to drive – valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record in the State of Colorado
  • Be able to drive in various conditions including winter conditions along I-70 and the Front Range
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to move on and off of a 2 car trailer and secure vehicle(s) to the car trailer, flexing, pushing, and pulling
  • Flexibility – Varying hours from 7am to 6pm M-F dependent on business scheduling
  • Flexibility – Varying job duties due to weather conditions/work load may entail driving a customer’s vehicle or a dealer provided car instead of truck and car hauler.
  • Minimum 2 years CDL experience
  • Preferred but not required, knowledge of vehicle transportation

Benefits:

  • $30.00 per hour
  • Full Time not to exceed 40 hours in a week
