Cardiothoracic Surgeon – Grand Junction, CO

About this role: 

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital is seeking a PRN Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its redesigned CT Surgery Program in Grand Junction, CO.

• Diverse Case Mix: Includes CABG, aortic, valve, thoracic, and TAVR procedures.

• ACS/SVS Verified Vascular Program: Shared standards of excellence and efficiency available to CT surgery.

Ideal Candidate: 

• Board-certified or board-eligible CT surgeon. 
• Interest in contributing to a growing program with strong institutional support. 
• Desire to work in a community-focused hospital with academic-level cases. 

Compensation:  

PRN Rate: $5,345.00/ 24 hour call (6 hours on-site)

What you’ll bring: 

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited allopathic or osteopathic school of medicine  
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery 
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one 
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one 
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 
• Minimum of 3 years of practice experience
