Zillow Home Loans is seeking a dynamic Business Operations Manager to drive execution of strategic initiatives and operational excellence across our mortgage business. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who thrives working cross-functionally and is passionate about shaping the future of home lending.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Fulfillment, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to execute strategic initiatives that move the business forward.
Lead the launch of innovative loan products, from ideation through go-to-market execution, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
Develop and implement new cross-functional processes that drive measurable improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs), optimizing efficiency and customer experience.
Analyze complex data sets to identify opportunities, inform decision-making, and measure the impact of initiatives.
Present solutions, recommendations, and results to senior leadership, influencing direction and driving alignment across the organization.
Minimum 8 years of mortgage industry experience spanning multiple disciplines (e.g., operations, product, underwriting, sales, or technology).
Demonstrated ability to excel in a variety of mortgage functions, with a deep understanding of the end-to-end loan lifecycle.
Proven track record of taking ideas from concept to execution, independently building solutions that deliver business value.
Self-motivated and proactive; you anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and act without waiting for direction.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create, interpret, and present data-driven insights.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working with Salesforce, Encompass, and Blend
