Responsibilities
- Organize, execute, and support key customer visits to install, present, and test new products alongside Sales staff and Product Managers
- Ride new SRAM MTB products with key partners; plan, ride, and lead long days on demanding trails while maintaining a positive attitude
- Evaluate and ride competitor products to develop a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape; synthesize findings into actionable insights for the Product Management team
- Present and promote new products to customers in a manner that facilitates business growth
- Assist with MarCom and Sales activities, including product launches and sales events
- Systematically gather and document rider and customer feedback from field interactions, product testing, and customer visits; communicate findings to the Product Management team in a structured and consistent manner
- Identify growth opportunity areas within the category for specific customers or markets and communicate findings to the Product Management team
- Become the expert on new frame standards, industry trends, and key customer needs; identify opportunities for SRAM involvement
- Develop and maintain a product sample plan and inventory to maximize impact with key customers and drive feedback to the Product Management team
- Manage compatibility communications to and from customers; establish and maintain positive product-to-product staff relationships with key accounts
- Develop and provide internal product education for Dealer Service, Technical Marketing, and Sales Representatives
- Support smaller product development projects under the guidance of a Product Manager, including line extensions, product data management, and go-to-market planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience required; prior experience at an OEM bicycle brand, bike shop, or in a dealer-facing role within the cycling industry strongly preferred
- Ability to ride advanced mountain bike trails; efforts similar to a multi-day enduro race may be required
- Strong bicycle mechanic skills with ability to perform complete bike assembly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with ability to take initiative and work with minimal direct supervision
- Curiosity and ambition to learn product strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional execution
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range starting at $75,000, with the potential of up to $90,000 based on experience and skills
