About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Department Description:
The Salesforce Global Partnerships team establishes, grows, and executes transformational partnerships for Salesforce globally. Our partnerships drive revenue, increase customer success, deliver innovative product roadmap, elevate our brand, and differentiate our company. Our team creates new ways of operating as a business, solves critical and complex problems, and supports our most impactful corporate priorities. Our team values trust, grit, agility, and inclusivity.

We manage a portfolio of new and newly onboarded ISV partners — qualifying opportunities, structuring commercial agreements, driving platform adoption and consumption, ensuring partners hit key milestones, and transitioning them to Partner Account Managers for ongoing growth.

Our Business Development function qualifies vetted, inbound opportunities across Platform, Apps, Agents and Integration  segments — with a focus on Agentforce and Data Cloud — and onboards partners to AgentExchange.

Role Description:

We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our ISV Business Development team. This role will require a passion for the Salesforce platform and products, and interest in proliferating the AgentExchange ecosystem.

You will support the recruitment of new ISV Partners through inbound efforts, learning the fundamentals of partner qualification and onboarding. Ideal candidates should be eager to grow in our organization by demonstrating their ability to be a tenacious self-starter every day. Salesforce offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources and coaching to help recruit new ISVs and build the foundation for your career.

Your Impact:

  • Evangelize the Salesforce platform, the ISV Partner Program and the AgentExchange ecosystem

  • Identify, develop, and help qualify a pipeline of new ISVs who are looking to build apps and integrations with Salesforce and list on the world's largest business app marketplace – AgentExchange, with guidance from senior team members

  • Support the development of partnership and commercial strategy, and assist with relationship-building for partnership deals — escalating complex negotiations, non-traditional deal structures, and business case development to senior colleagues as needed

  • Work cross-functionally with Business Development teams, technical experts, support, legal, and operations teams to help guide partners through the ISV Onboarding Process and revenue reporting

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics as outlined by the business

  • Leverage AI tools that support the execution of improvements to our Partner Experience and scale our Partner Onboarding processes

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in ISV sales, ecosystem management, business development, strategic partnerships, or cloud platform strategy—ideally within SaaS, AI, data, or cloud ecosystems

  • Track record of achieving targets in technology sales, partner management, or related client-facing roles

  • Technical aptitude with a quick ability to learn software solutions and platform capabilities

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

  • Foundational understanding of the Salesforce platform (APIs, workflows, automation, agents) and its broader ecosystem, or a strong willingness to build this quickly

  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to build rapport across both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to develop basic business cases and partner-facing collateral under guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for partner growth and ecosystem success

  • Exposure to supporting channel/partner/customer relationships

  • Familiarity with standard sales methodologies or deal frameworks

  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude Cowork or Claude Code

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Partner Qualification: Assist in the evaluation and qualification of prospective ISV partners across Salesforce clouds and verticals

  • Partner Onboarding : Manage a pipeline of partner prospects, communicate the value of the Salesforce Partner Program, consult on the development of partner's applications and lead partners through commercial negotiations

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams—including Business Development, Launch, Partner Solutions, Marketing, Legal, and Deal Operations—to support agreement execution and time-to-market
