About Securitize Capital

Securitize Capital is a registered investment adviser and investment manager focused on bringing traditional investment products on-chain through tokenization.

Securitize Capital currently serves as investment manager to eight investment funds spanning private equity, private credit, CLOs, high-yield credit and other alternative investment strategies.  Our funds combine traditional investment management and fund infrastructure with blockchain-based ownership and transaction capabilities, providing a unique opportunity to help build the operational framework for the next generation of investment products.

We are seeking an Associate, Fund Operations to support the day-to-day operations of Securitize Capital's investment funds and help build scalable operational processes as the platform continues to grow.

What You'll Do

The Associate will work closely with the Securitize Capital team and a broad group of internal and external partners, including fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, custodians, transfer agents, sub-advisers and other service providers.

Responsibilities will include:

Fund Operations & Financial Oversight
  • Review daily, monthly and quarterly fund financials, NAV calculations and supporting reports prepared by fund administrators.
  • Review fund-level activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, investment activity, cash movements, expenses, management fees and expense accruals.
  • Assist with cash and liquidity management across the funds.
  • Help identify and resolve NAV, accounting, reconciliation and operational discrepancies.
Fund Accounting, Audit & Tax
  • Coordinate with third-party fund administrators on accounting and financial reporting matters.
  • Support annual fund audits, including coordinating information and responding to requests from auditors.
  • Coordinate with tax preparers on annual tax filings, investor tax reporting and related information requests.
  • Assist with the review of audited financial statements and other periodic fund reporting.
  • Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for fund expenses, invoices, accruals and other financial activity.
Service Provider & Internal Coordination
  • Serve as an operational point of contact for fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, custodians, sub-advisers and other third-party service providers.
  • Coordinate across Securitize Capital and affiliated teams, including fund administration and transfer agency functions.
  • Track open operational items and ensure issues are appropriately escalated and resolved.
Tokenized Fund Operations
  • Develop an understanding of how blockchain-based fund interests interact with traditional fund accounting, custody and transfer agency infrastructure.
  • Support operational workflows involving digital assets and stablecoins, including subscription and redemption activity where applicable.
What We're Looking For
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, asset management, fund administration, audit or a related financial-services role.
  • Experience reviewing private fund financial statements, NAVs, capital activity or fund accounting records.
  • Strong understanding of basic investment fund accounting concepts, including NAV, subscriptions and redemptions, management fees, fund expenses, accruals and cash reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to independently investigate discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where processes are still being built and standardized.
  • Strong Excel skills and an ability to work effectively with financial and operational data.
Helpful Experience

Experience in any of the following would be particularly valuable:

  • Private investment funds, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds or other alternative investment vehicles.
  • Fund administration or fund accounting.
  • Investment advisers or registered investment advisers.
  • Digital assets, blockchain technology, tokenized securities or stablecoins.
  • Alternative investments such as private credit, CLOs, high-yield bonds or private equity.

Prior digital asset experience is helpful but not required. We are primarily looking for someone with strong fund-operations fundamentals who is interested in learning how traditional investment fund infrastructure can operate using blockchain technology.

Who Will Succeed in This Role

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys understanding how a fund works from end to end rather than focusing on only one part of the accounting or operational process.

You should be comfortable moving between detailed financial review and broader operational problem-solving. Whether that means reviewing a NAV, investigating a reconciliation difference, coordinating an audit request, documenting a new procedure or helping determine how a new tokenized fund workflow should operate.

Because Securitize Capital operates at the intersection of traditional asset management and digital assets, this role is particularly well suited for someone who has a strong foundation in traditional fund operations and is interested in helping build the operational infrastructure for tokenized investment products.
