General Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an Analyst, Analytics (IT) to support and maintain our existing data, reporting, and analytics ecosystem. This role is ideal for a data-savvy professional with strong SQL and Tableau skills who enjoys investigating data anomalies, triaging production issues, and ensuring the reliability of our reporting platforms. This reporting specialist will be responsible for providing frontline support to business stakeholders, diagnosing and resolving data pipeline and dashboard issues, and optimizing existing reporting capabilities at DaVita.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Production Support & Triage: Act as the primary point of contact for reporting and data-related production issues. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to SQL queries, ETL processes, and Tableau dashboards.

  • Data Analysis & Investigation: Analyze data to identify anomalies, root causes of reporting errors, and patterns in data quality issues, providing actionable resolutions to stakeholders.

  • Report Maintenance & Optimization: Maintain and enhance existing customized reports and interactive dashboards. Optimize report performance and SQL query efficiency to minimize processing time and resource utilization.

  • Incident Escalation: Evaluate incoming support tickets (e.g., via ServiceNow), perform needed research, resolve issues where possible, and properly route complex bugs to IT Development or Data Engineering teams.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality assurance checks on reports and data feeds to ensure ongoing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with department standards.

  • User Training & Support: Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to users on accessing, troubleshooting, and interpreting existing reports effectively.

  • Documentation: Maintain and update documentation for existing report specifications, data dictionaries, design logic, and support processes for future reference and audit purposes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to improve the reliability, monitoring, and uptime of existing reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications

(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business analytics, or a related field (preferred).

  • 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics-focused roles.

  • Proficiency in SQL or other query languages for data manipulation, extraction, joining, and aggregating data.

  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization technologies with strong dashboard development skills.

  • Experience in report design and development.

  • Experience with Excel and Python.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data sets.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Highly detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality reports that meet stakeholders' needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with applying statistical or mathematical concepts in data analysis.

  • Experience with NICE CXone or other contact center data.

  • Familiarity with contact center operations and metrics (e.g., average handle time, first call resolution).

  • Certification in NICE Systems' products or relevant analytics tools.

  • Experience with ServiceNow™ ITSM Platform or Salesforce.

The Salary Range for the role is $62,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year.

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
