Acoustics Product Marketing Manager

About the role

Cochlear is helping people hear, and be heard, all over the world. In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.

This role is responsible for driving and expanding service revenue through the development and execution of integrated, direct-to-recipient marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and will own a broad portion of revenue generation within their scope. Key responsibilities include defining the overall acoustics upgrade strategy and collaborating with the team to implement the product marketing roadmap, covering product launches, retirements, and revenue-generating campaigns. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including teams across marketing, recipient services, IT, clinical, legal, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain in-depth understanding of revenue drivers. Identify trends, key segments and define behavioral patterns. Partner across the organization to support the development of unique and valuable solutions to meet revenue targets.
  • Apply strong project management skills to drive product lifecycle from product launch to retirement. Lead regional cross-functional project teams to facilitate program implementation; leadership role on these teams as required.
  • Serve as the primary representative for the department on identified enterprise initiatives, advocating for functional priorities and addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing compelling marketing materials—from brochures to social media content—and managing them through the full review and approval process. Effectively manage assigned budgets to maximize impact.
  • Lead digital strategy including online store, upgrade specific .com pages and forms. Use data analysis to evaluate current programs and uncover new opportunities, making strategic recommendations that increase recipient engagement and drive revenue.
  • Support annual budgeting process and monthly budget reforecasting.  Assess opportunities for overspend and address any underspend.  Ensure budget is aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Perform additional duties as required in support of business goals.

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ Years of experience, 1-2 in product marketing preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Management experience preferred

  • Pay Range in the United States: $113,000 - $117,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
