About Alchemer

Founded in 2006, Alchemer is a powerful survey and data insights platform that empowers business professionals to make informed decisions. As SaaS application software, it offers user-friendly data collection tools for understanding customers, markets, and employees in real time and communicating this information across an organization. It provides data insights in over 100 countries, with 50K new surveys created and 5M responses collected every week.

Alchemer has tremendous opportunity to continue this growth, based on current market size and the potential for more sophisticated product positioning and a robust sales and marketing engine. Details on Alchemer’s products and services can be found on our website (www.Alchemer.com).

What You Will Do

We are seeking an Account Executive, (AE) who is motivated to sell our product and excited about being a part of a profitable SaaS company! The primary responsibilities of the position are to drive bookings for revenue by winning new logos for Alchemer's reputation management products and by selling those products into Alchemer's existing customer base. This is a hunter role: you will be responsible for building your own pipeline through outbound prospecting in addition to working leads generated by Marketing and the SDR function.

You must be able to plan and execute daily and weekly against a set of required activities to generate sales. This role has deep knowledge of Alchemer's reputation management solutions, the multi-location brands that buy them, and the competitors we win against, and can partner with departments across the company to successfully win new business in our defined target segments. You must also possess business acumen, interpersonal skills, and have experience working with senior executives and closing deals.

What You Will Sell

You will sell Alchemer's reputation management suite built for multi-location brands in retail, restaurants, healthcare, automotive, financial services, hospitality, real estate and other multi-location industries. Buyers are typically CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Directors of Brand or Digital, and operations leaders responsible for dozens to thousands of locations.

The suite includes:

  • Reputation Management – monitor and respond to reviews across every major review site from one inbox, with AI-assisted and bulk responses
  • Listings Management – keep every location's business information accurate across search engines, maps, directories, and AI search
  • Local Pages – custom, SEO-optimized pages for each location
  • Social Media Management – publish and monitor local and brand social channels
  • AI Sentiment Analysis and AI Review Signals – surface themes, root causes, and emerging service or safety risks across reviews, surveys, social, and images before they become public one-star reviews
  • Competitive Intelligence – benchmark each location against local competitors

Because reputation lives on the same platform as Alchemer Survey and Digital Experience, you will also position the broader feedback platform: one data model for reviews, listings, social, and surveys, with HIPAA, FERPA, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.

Competitive landscape

You will regularly compete against Yext, SOCi, Birdeye, Reputaiton and Qualtrics. You are expected to know how each is positioned and where Alchemer wins.

You will also encounter point tools and in-house approaches (spreadsheets, Google Business Profile alone, agency-managed listings) and legacy survey vendors that do not connect reviews to the rest of the customer feedback picture.

How You Will Spend Your Days

  • Sell and win new logos for Alchemer's reputation management products in a defined territory/segment of multi-location brands
  • Sell reputation management, listings, local pages, and social products into Alchemer's existing survey and feedback customers, partnering with Customer Success on expansion plays
  • Build and execute outbound prospecting strategies: target-account lists, multi-touch sequences across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video, and event follow-up to generate self-sourced pipeline
  • Demonstrate a comfort and desire to cold-call and use the telephone, email, social media, etc. for prospecting
  • Work with a range of senior leaders/C-Level buyers in marketing, brand, digital, and operations at organizations that do not yet own our Products
  • Respond to and position products to leads and opportunities generated by Marketing and by the SDR/BDR functions
  • Run full-cycle sales processes: discovery, demo (with Solutions Engineering), proof of value, competitive positioning, negotiation, and close
  • Maintain a working understanding of Yext, SOCi, Birdeye, Reputation, and other competitors, and lead competitive displacement conversations with confidence
  • Possess a working understanding of Salesforce.com, LinkdenIn Sales Navigator, Regi.ai and other key sales technologies used for prospecting, cold-calling, and opportunity creation
  • Regularly perform against individual monthly and/or weekly targets for calls made, meetings, presentations, opportunities generated and closed won business
  • Collaborate with internal departments proactively to address Customer issues and needs
  • Chart and deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management

What You Bring to this Role

You have a track record of meeting and/or exceeding your goals and growing your sales career.

You're not afraid to pick up the phone and work in a fast-paced environment.

In addition, you have:

  • Confidence to prospect and develop new sales leads with at least 3+ years of closing experience in deals and complex sales cycles for software and SaaS products
  • Experience selling reputation management, listings, local SEO, social media management, customer experience, or Martech solutions to multi-location brands (strongly preferred); experience competing against Yext, SOCi, Birdeye, or Reputation is a plus
  • A demonstrated history of self-sourcing a meaningful share of your pipeline through outbound activity
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas
  • Comfortable with sales technology and CRM tools (Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo or similar)
  • Ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Execution of effective territory planning with landing and then expanding B2B relationships
