Leads WSB’s power delivery electrical engineering organization across substation engineering, protection and control, power systems studies, and DER. Oversees technical quality, standards, workforce planning, staff development, project delivery, budgets, client relationships, business development, and utility-facing initiatives. Provides senior technical direction on complex substation and power delivery projects while building scalable teams, QA/QC processes, and engineering operations.

Leads complex civil engineering designs for power generation, municipal, transportation, land development, and renewable energy projects. Oversees CAD and Revit plan production, construction documents, quality control, constructability reviews, multidisciplinary coordination, client meetings, estimates, and project planning. Develops design standards, templates, and workflows while mentoring engineering staff and supporting continuous improvement. Requires 10+ years of progressive engineering design experience and proficiency with specialized CAD, GIS, and surveying software.

Support planning, design, and execution of natural gas distributed generation, pipeline, and utility projects. Prepare construction plan sets, perform hydraulic modeling and stress analysis, ensure code compliance (CFR 192, ASME B31.4, NFPA), QA/QC drawings, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, support installation and commissioning, and manage project documentation and schedules.

Prepare and produce natural gas pipeline design and mapping deliverables using Civil 3D, BlueSky, and GIS tools. Create construction plan sets, P&IDs, isometrics, and related drawings; follow CAD standards; coordinate with engineers and project teams; manage drawing revisions and document control.

Lead and grow Colorado bridge design services, pursue business development, manage projects and contracts, oversee team hiring and development, ensure technical quality and financial performance, and maintain client relationships (especially with CDOT).

Supports daily payroll administration, including new-hire setup, direct-deposit changes, timesheet review and approval, payroll system transactions, employee inquiries, allowance audits, PTO entry, and record maintenance. The role collaborates with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely processing while maintaining confidentiality and employee data accuracy.

Perform traffic analysis and simulation using industry tools, design traffic plans in Bentley/AutoCAD, conduct safety analyses, review traffic data, compile information, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Lead traffic engineering project delivery including design of traffic projects and traffic elements, prepare reports and memos, ensure QA/QC, pursue business development, research emerging technologies, and incorporate sustainable practices. Coordinate across functional groups and support occasional field visits.

Lead and manage traffic engineering projects for public and private clients. Prepare and review traffic design and construction documents, conduct traffic forecasting and microsimulation (VISSIM/CORSIM), perform safety analyses and technical memorandums, supervise engineers and technicians, support business development and proposals, and research emerging traffic technologies.

Lead technical delivery of complex substation projects, develop execution and quality-control processes, mentor and manage engineering staff, coordinate multi-discipline teams, support budgeting, resource planning, change management, business development, and occasional field/client travel.
