What you will do:

  • Be a leader in delivering traffic engineering for our public and private clients
  • Manage traffic engineering projects and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
  • Prepare and/or review traffic design and construction documents for traffic signal, roadway illumination, signing and pavement marking based on the state of Florida and national standards
  • Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling including traffic forecasting, travel demand modeling, and microscoping (VISSIM/CORSIM) modeling
  • Perform traffic engineering and safety analysis and develop technical memorandums
  • Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians
  • Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
  • Actively participate in the preparation of proposals
  • Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited school.
  • 10+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages.
  • Florida PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months.
  • 2+ years of experience working on Florida projects
  • Preferred: PTOE and RSP certifications.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with design/analysis software packages including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, CORSIM.
  • Remote work available, must reside and work from Florida
