SeedPaths changes lives through paychecks. 

We are a new technology training company that gives low-income job seekers the opportunity to earn up to $500 to participate in an intensive, 8-week software development boot camp. As an eligible training provider for the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment, our partnership with the state workforce centers allow participants who qualify the possible opportunity to access Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding to pay for some or all of the $6,000 tuition costs. 

Our boot camp prepares entry-level technologists aged 16-35 years old for careers as full-stack .NET developers. Participants learn how to build awesome applications in JavaScript, C#, .NET, jQuery, SQL, HTML5 and CSS3. We will also help our students thrive in the workplace by bolstering their professional skills through a customized, innovative curriculum designed to get them employed in the tech industry. 

We have relationships with dozens of Denver metro area tech companies eager to hire talented, entry-level employees to bolster their teams and we have an employment specialist on staff to help them best take advantage of these connections.

Since launching on January 27, 2014, 62 people have gone through our innovative and intensive program. The vast majority are now employed in contract, contract-to-hire, internship or full-time positions with an average yearly salary of $30,000 (our highest earner is currently making $60,000).

Of our first 30 graduates who wanted a job, 95% secured an opportunity within 90 days of graduation and enjoyed a 200% increase in pay. 

In addition to our in-person boot camp, we will also launch a virtual classroom option for participants in January 2015. This will allow participants to take part in our program, gain all the skills needed to help get your foot in the door to a tech career while participating in the comfort of your own home (including outside of Denver). 

SeedPaths also runs a staffing & recruiting company that places top-tier talent to help area tech companies grow their businesses with the right team in place. We then invest 100% of our profits back into our academic division to help bolster the talent pipeline in Colorado so in 5 years we’ll have even more talent for the companies with which we partner.
