As the leaves change across the Rocky Mountains, tech companies continue to hire in the state, and across the country for remote positions. They’re offering benefits like 401(k) matches, unlimited paid time off and flexible work schedules to attract tech talent.

Recognition builds connection: When SALT’s workforce went remote, they implemented an employee perks and recognition program. All SALT employees receive $150 in SALTcoin to redeem, and they also receive 100 extra SALTcoin to give to coworkers they wish to recognize. “Within my first month, I was able to use my SALTcoin to send flowers, redeem gift cards and send and receive recognition,” Mike Zhang, director of corporate development, told Built In. “It accelerated the timeline to settle into the new job; I felt like I was part of the family.”
