Quantum Metric raises $25M Series A for digital intelligence analytics platform
On Tuesday, Monument-based digital experience intelligence startup Quantum Metric closed a $25 million Series A led by Insight Venture Partners. Having quadrupled its customer base over the last 18 months, Quantum Metric will use the funds to support its rapid growth. Slack signs lease on 80,000-square-foot office space in LoDo
After confirming rumors in May about its Denver office plans, Slack has finally made it official. The San Francisco-based tech giant signed a lease to take over floors six and seven at 16 Chestnut, a 19-story office building being developed behind Union Station. The space amounts to 80,000 square feet — significantly larger than the 50,000 square feet they were reported to be looking at. The new office could bring as many as 550 new jobs to the city, thanks to a $10.6 million Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Techstars has launched a new Denver area accelerator in partnership with Englewood-based Western Union. The new program will support startups aiming to disrupt the fintech industry, with a particular focus on those delivering tech-driven solutions for payments and global money transfers. Centennial-based electronics manufacturer and distributor Arrow Electronics announced this week that it has opened an innovation lab dedicated to showcasing smart city applications. Udemy lands in Denver, bringing with it 200 new jobs
San Francisco-headquartered edtech company Udemy announced the opening of a Denver office, located at 1800 Wazee St. The new space will support Udemy’s rapid growth and hold more than 200 employees within the next three years, with a focus on roles in enterprise sales, marketing and customer support. “Opening our doors in Denver enables us to tap into an amazing pool of talent,” said Udemy CEO Kevin H.
