The Colorado tech scene was relatively quiet last week, but that didn’t stop two companies from pulling in venture capital to advance their solutions. Another local company announced a key acquisition. Catch up on the latest local tech news with the Built In Colorado Weekly Refresh.

Bonusly pulled in $18.9MLooking to help companies retain their employees, Bonusly’s Series B round will go toward its marketing, sales and go-to-market initiatives. Ankona Capital led the round. In addition to rewarding employees with things like gift cards, Bounsly’s platform also provides managers with data that can help them better understand their teams. [Built In Colorado]

Icon Source closed its Series A round. The Denver-based startup connects professional and college athletes with brands for endorsement deals. Since its founding in 2019, the company has grown its user base to 15,000 athletes and more than 2,000 brands. Icon Source said it will use the new capital to scale its development stack and marketing team. CEO and founder Chase Garrett said the company is expected to be profitable by the end of Q2. Spinnaker SCA acquired Accelogix. Boulder-based Spinnaker SCA offers supply chain consulting, planning and strategy services. North Carolina-based Accelogix develops tech solutions for logistics businesses, including a platform that tracks warehouse employee productivity. The two logistics companies are joining forces to better serve their clients and expand their reach. [Built In Colorado]

Ride iQ is participating in Techstars Boulder. Sisters Jessica and McKinzey Lux launched Ride iQ in 2021 as a way for horseback riders to virtually connect with top-tier trainers. Since launching, the startup has won the top prize at Denver Startup Week’s pitch competition, recently secured funding from an investor and will now participate in the Techstars Boulder accelerator program. The app is used by about 1,400 people worldwide. [Colorado Public Radio]

These local tech companies raised the largest funding rounds last month. February’s five largest funding rounds pulled in a collective $175.2 million.
