Korean skincare brand JiYu announced its expansion in the U.S. with a $6.5 million round of funding. With offices in Denver and Miami, the company is working to bring the integrity of Korean skincare science directly to Western consumers.

JiYu’s products are created with science-backed formulations that prioritize solving real skincare concerns voiced by consumers. Operating in both Korea and the U.S., JiYu projects earning over $70 million in revenue in 2026. It is also expanding into the clinical dermatology research sector.

“This investment validates the demand for science-backed Korean skincare in the U.S. market,” Jen, JiYu’s co-founder, said in a statement. “Our focus is building a brand rooted in clinical evidence and ingredient transparency — one that earns consumer trust with every product we launch.”

JiYu will put most of its new capital toward initiating formal clinical studies to get peer-reviewed efficacy data on its core formulations. It will also expand its formulation pipeline and currently has multiple products in development that leverage its existing clinical and scientific principles.
