The Colorado tech scene is showing no signs of slowing down. Last week two local companies raised significant venture capital, and a Chicago-based company opened a Denver office. Catch up on the latest tech news with the Built In Colorado Weekly Refresh.

ColdQuanta got $110M. The Boulder-based company develops and manufactures quantum computing parts and technology by cooling atoms to near absolute zero degrees. Led by LCP Quantum, the Series B round will go toward commercializing ColdQuanta’s products. [Built In Colorado]

AMP Robotics landed $91M. AMP uses artificial intelligence and robots to sort through waste and make operating waste management and recycling facilities cheaper and better for the planet. The $91 million Series C round was co-led by Congruent Ventures and Wellington Management. AMP will use the capital to continue scaling internationally as demand for its robots continues to grow. The Louisville-based company is actively hiring for more than a dozen positions across its finance, operations, engineering and data and analytics teams. Elteve was featured in Built In’s Future 5 series. The Denver-based startup allows businesses on Shopify to create custom shipping labels that feature QR codes tied to advertising campaigns. The self-serve platform also tracks advertising data in real time, including how much revenue was generated from the QR code. Elteve says it is the first custom packaging ad platform for Shopify businesses. The startup plans to hire up to 10 people over the next year. [Built In Colorado]

Focused Labs opened an office in Denver. Focused Labs is a consulting and software development company based in Chicago. The company opened an office in the Venture X Denver LoDo coworking space due to increased demand for its services in the region. Focused Labs plans to grow its Denver team by at least 10 and is currently hiring for several remote roles. [Built In Colorado]
