Focused Labs is opening a new office in Denver as it looks to capitalize on the growing demand for its services in the region.

Headquartered in Chicago, Focused Labs is a consulting and software development firm that was co-founded in 2018 by Austin Vance and Luke Mueller. The company takes a rigorous approach to develop software. Its three-step process includes building the software, deploying it and gathering data and then analysing the data to make necessary improvements.

The new Denver office comes 10 months after Focused Labs relocated its headquarters from a coworking space in Chicago to the citys historic Old Post Office building. The move to the 101-year-old renovated building in the Windy City was done to accommodate Focused Labs’ growing team.

In order to continue its growth, Focused Labs recently opened a new office in Denvers Dairy Block micro-district. The Dairy Block is part of Denver’s LoDo neighborhood and is filled with restaurants, bars and stores. There, the software startup is situated in the Venture X Denver LoDo coworking space and features “boutique hotel-style hospitality,” according to Focused Labs.

The new space will add about 10 new employees to the Focused Labs team, according to a company spokesperson.

“Denver is a bustling city with great tech talent. The Venture X Denver LoDo space is a perfect fit for our needs, and we love the location in Dairy Block,” Vance, CEO of Focused Labs, told Built In. “Were eager to start building our team here and writing this new chapter for Focused Labs.”

Focused Labs has been a supporter of remote work, and with the new office, Denver-based employees will still have the option to work from home. Vance said employees prefer in-office work, however, as it allows them to collaborate and connect with their coworkers.

As the company looks to grow its Denver team, it has various open roles listed on Built In and its website.

“The continued expansion of our physical footprint comes in line with the growing demand for our services and expertise,” Vance said in a statement. “In order to best serve our customers with the high-touch service they expect, we need to have that boots-on-the-ground advantage. Were thrilled about this new chapter for our company.”
