The Yield Operations team is a newly formed group focused on improving operational alignment between FP&A and Sales across Yahoo Ads. Our goal is to simplify and modernize workflows, improve visibility across teams, and build more scalable processes that support the business globally. Sitting at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, and Sales, the team is focused on streamlining execution, reducing manual work, and leveraging automation and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and support the continued growth of the Yahoo Ads business.
About the Role
As the Yield Operations Lead, you will own the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of our deal workflows. You will manage the end-to-end deal approval cycle for key segments, acting as a key operational partner to Sales and Finance teams. You are expected to operate with minimal guidance, proactively identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing AI-driven optimizations that improve efficiency across deal workflows.
Responsibilities
Deal Workflow Ownership: Manage pricing requests and approval workflows, ensuring alignment with guidelines while independently resolving blockers to keep deals moving efficiently.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Sales and Finance to drive timely decisions, leveraging AI tools to summarize deal details and accelerate stakeholder alignment.
Workflow Modernization: Drive the implementation of standardized processes, proactively identifying opportunities to replace repetitive manual tasks with AI-assisted or automated workflows.
Operational Reporting: Partner with Data and Analytics teams to support Tableau reporting and visibility into deal activity, workflow trends, and operational performance.
Operational Governance: Track deal turnaround times against SLAs, identifying patterns in approval delays and proposing practical workflow fixes to improve throughput.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the functional lead for Sales and Finance partners on deal standards and commercial guidelines, ensuring the quality and compliance of incoming requests.
Basic Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Sales Ops, Yield Management, or Commercial Finance.
Proven experience independently managing deal workflows, pricing processes, or approval systems.
Proficiency using AI tools to support documentation, workflow efficiency, and data synthesis.
Advanced proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and Data Visualization (Tableau) tools.
Ability to identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies in day-to-day operational work.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience validating and refining AI-generated outputs in a commercial or financial context.
Understanding of pricing concepts such as revenue management, rate cards, and discount structures.
Commitment to continuous learning and experimentation with AI-enabled workflows.

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
