- Under the direction of SRF monastic leadership, this position provides advanced writing, documentation, and process-oversight support for the handling of sensitive and confidential correspondence and requests.
- The role requires exceptional writing skill, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to accurately apply established SRF guidelines, teachings, and internal procedures when preparing written drafts and administrative records for monastic review.
- This position handles complex and high-sensitivity subject matter and plays a key role in ensuring consistency, accuracy, procedural integrity, and confidentiality within a counseling-support environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare written drafts of letters, emails, and memoranda as requested and under the direction of authorized Reviewers or monastic leadership.
- Prepare concise administrative records indicating that written responses have been issued, in accordance with internal documentation standards.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
- Ensure the proper handling and tracking of incoming counseling requests and outgoing phone or written communications, confirming that all procedural requirements and follow-up steps have been completed.
- Research and reference approved SRF materials, policies, and guidance to support the preparation of accurate and consistent written drafts under established guidelines.
- Organize, maintain, and apply reference materials and internal guidelines in electronic systems.
- Honor and maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- Responsible to follow SRF’s policies and established processes.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and word usage.
- Ability to express ideas clearly, compassionately, and professionally in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to relate effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and personalities.
- Demonstrates sound professional judgment and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to maintain the strictest standards of confidentiality and comply with all requirements of SRF confidentiality agreements.
- Strong understanding of SRF principles, teachings, and internal policies, or ability to acquire such knowledge.
- Capable of learning quickly, adapting to change, and retaining detailed information related to internal processes and procedures.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Skilled in identifying appropriate procedural actions and applying established internal guidelines in complex or sensitive situations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering closely to established direction and guidelines.
- Ability to receive and incorporate corrective feedback constructively.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working in confidential, high-trust, or sensitive service environments strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related workplace systems.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST
The position is remote for those residing in California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Vermont, Virginia, North Carolina.
