What You Will Do In This Role

As the VP of Revenue you will be focused on driving revenue by leading the charge in turning our marketplace growth and embedding plans into concrete actions. You’ll develop relationships with partner teams and work closely with them to embed our tools and grow our reach. You will also craft and get internal buy-in on actionable plans to drive revenue via marketing, sponsorship, and partnership programs, and you’ll execute on these plans with internal and external teams. Your ability to implement and deliver will be crucial in transforming our revenue engine into a high-performance machine. This is a leadership position where rolling up your sleeves, empowering your teams, and making immediate, measurable changes, and ensuring flawless operational execution is key.

Who You Are

You are a hands-on, results-driven leader adept at understanding marketplace dynamics and driving revenue growth through marketplace innovation. You may not have direct industry experience, but it’s likely that you have worked in or around companies specializing in Cloud services/Cloud computing.

You probably feel on top of the world when you are by executing a plan and seeing the results you expected come to fruition. You are comfortable developing long and short-term strategies, but nothing gives you more energy than rolling up your sleeves and getting it done - whatever “it” might be. You probably hate when things slow down, and you are willing to take calculated risks to avoid stagnation. This is a big reason why startup life appeals to you. Even if your risks don’t pan out, your confidence doesn’t wane. You simply learn from your mistakes and improve.

It’s likely that you see yourself as a bit of a chameleon because you find it easy to adapt to your audience and build trust quickly. Because of that, you probably find it easy to work with many different types of people, which serves you well in achieving your goals. You understand that success is rarely achieved as a team of one, and you know how to get the best out of the people around you.

Who We Are

We’re revolutionizing the way companies buy and sell digital infrastructure, and we’re extremely proud of that. Digital infrastructure is the enabler of the internet and at the core of every industry. Traditionally it’s been bought manually through service provider sales people, resulting in high costs, slow procurement cycles, and services that don’t work the best - slowing down the ability of companies to build and hold back human innovation. Inflect’s marketplace and advisory are removing friction so any company can get what they need, when they need it, at the right deal terms. By achieving our mission, we unlock businesses to build and human innovation inflects!

Of course, we’re also a startup, and it’s important that you understand what that means if you work for us. We work quick, we work smart, we work hard, and the road to success is filled with some of the highest highs, but also has its fair share of lows. If you’re looking for the same thing day in and day out, this will not be the place for you. (And that’s totally okay!) We’re all owners of Inflect -full time employees receive option grants-, and we know that we’re the reason we’ll achieve our goals, or we’ll be the reason we don’t. So believe me when I say that we’re hell bent on achieving our goals. If this sounds like the kind of environment you would thrive in then we’d love to have you!

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

  • Assess, strategize, and execute on a growth plan for Inflect’s marketplace reach
  • Lead and grow the Solution Advisors, Account Management, and Sales Operations teams
