This role is within Chamberlain Group’s (CG) myQ Enterprise emerging business, within the Commercial Business Unit. This role is part of the myQ Enterprise sales function, designed to lead CG’s go-to-market efforts for its cutting-edge warehouse and distribution center software. The myQ Enterprise product is a connected IOT software solution that streamlines trailer scheduling, simplifies driver check in, and provides real-time information about what is happening at the facility. A successful incumbent’s main objectives are to (i) spearhead and continuously develop myQ Enterprise lead generation to grow the myQ Enterprise pipeline size, (ii) identify, build, and own relationships with prospective sales targets and efficiently move them through the sales process (iii) own the entirety of the sales process from prospecting to contracting with the goal of closing as many sites as possible. Requires 7+ years of sales experience with 5+ years of experience in a software sales role and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pioneer go-to-market efforts for myQ Enterprise through creative selling strategies and thought leadership

  • Own entirety of sales process including but not exclusively lead generation, lead development, pre-sales, proposal writing, and contracting

  • Secure customer meetings and engage with customer stakeholders at all steps of the sales process and serve as their first point of contact throughout the sales process

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate information about all sales activities in the CG CRM

  • Conduct outreach against targeted prospects with the objective to induce interest in learning more about myQ Enterprise

  • Understand customer pain points and translate those challenges to the value of the software product

  • Define and build initial customer target lists to enable focused engagement with high potential prospects

  • Serve as a primary communicator between customer and rest of myQ team, reporting back feedback and other important meeting notes

  • Compare and evaluate prospects to determine best targets to help CG grow its SaaS business

  • Learn and have an understanding of the myQ Enterprise software key features and functionality so that you can conduct overview and early-stage demonstrations with prospective customers

  • Collaborate with marketing team to prepare/review contact and presentation materials

  • Coordinate with all necessary CG team members including but not exclusively, technical sales, implementation, and customer success

  • Work with Customer Success Manager to ensure smooth transition of materials and customer support

  • Represent sales on the cross functional team responsible for designing and bringing myQ Enterprise to market

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential. · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field

  • 7+ years of sales business development experience

  • 5+ years of software/SaaS business development and sales across prospects, customers, and partners

  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and objectives

  • Proven success bringing new software/SaaS solutions to market

  • Strong ability to present and communicate software/SaaS based solution value propositions to multiple

  • levels within an organization (C-Suite, Manager, Operations, Finance, etc...)

  • Self-driven and entrepreneurial

  • Strong sense of Customer Advocacy

  • Change agent, able to drive new processes and streamline existing ones

  • High degree of influence in cross-functional roles

  • Ability to recognize and articulate trends and insights across the customer base

  • Basic proficiency in CRM Management

  • Ability to travel up to 60% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in related discipline

  • Experience in facility management (selling, integrating with or similar)

  • Experience (selling, integrating with or similar) with WMS (warehouse management systems), YMS

  • (yard management systems), or TMS (transportation management systems)

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High proficiency in CRM Management

  • Well-established contact network amongst VPs of supply-chain, operations, logistics or similar

The pay range for this position is $84,665.00 - $139,446.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
