The Role:
Comply is seeking a polished and accomplished Vice President of Regulatory Content to join our growing team. Reporting to a Senior Vice President of Regulatory Services, the Vice President of Regulatory Content is responsible for developing authoritative, educational, and thought leadership content that helps clients and prospects understand evolving regulatory requirements and how Comply supports compliance excellence.
This role transforms complex regulations into actionable insights, builds scalable educational frameworks for clients, and integrates those learnings directly into our platform experience. Sitting within Regulatory Services, this position serves as a bridge between our subject matter experts, product teams, and clients, ensuring regulatory clarity, trust, and confidence in Comply.
Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Thought Leadership
- Partner with Regulatory Services leadership to create forward-looking insights, analysis, and commentary on evolving compliance, supervisory, and operational trends.
- Produce whitepapers, briefings, webinars, and other materials that reinforce our position as the regulatory thought leader, including coordinating with subject matter experts
- Support executive communications and speaking engagements with expert-level regulatory content and briefing materials both internally and market facing
- Education & Enablement
- Collaborate with Product and Subject Matter Experts to ensure the Comply platform and regulatory modules are contextual, accurate, and easy to consume in-app with a goal of high adoption, risk management/mitigation and client delight.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive regulatory education framework for clients—covering ongoing compliance best practices.
- Translate regulatory obligations into plain-language guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles that are shared with the market and embedded within our technology.
- Partner with Customer Success to draft quarterly business review templates based on regulatory hot topics.
- Internal & External Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, and Revenue teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of regulatory interpretations.
- Partner with Marketing on market segmentation and ideal client profiles, while co-authoring content to drive pipeline growth through strategy and regulatory positioning.
- Conduct regulatory impact analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risk with content that supports both proactive compliance education and responsive updates to regulatory shifts.
- Continuous Improvement & Measurement
- Establish metrics to evaluate the positive impact new/revised content has on client consulting engagements and platform adoption.
- Maintain a pulse on emerging regulatory themes to guide proactive content development.
- Continuously refine tools based on client feedback, usage analytics, and evolving regulations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or financial services content strategy.
- Deep understanding of financial regulation (SEC, FINRA, state, and/or global equivalents).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex regulatory information into clear, client-ready content.
- Experience creating client education frameworks, in-app learning journeys, or similar enablement programs.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across business, legal, and technology functions.
- Prior experience as a regulator (SEC and/or FINRA), in-house compliance/operations role, reg tech firm, or compliance-focused SaaS environment preferred.
