What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Vice President, Product and Marketing Strategy will be responsible for driving the development and execution of Strive Health's product portfolio, go to market strategies, patient experience and marketing. This role oversees an expanding department of five direct reports across Product Strategy, Patient and Provider Experience, Marketing, and Communications, translating market insights into actionable plans that fuel growth and propel Strive’s mission and growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to elevate Strive’s brand presence and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results. This is a unique opportunity to lead at the intersection of healthcare, innovation, and marketing, shaping how Strive engages the market and transforms kidney care for good.
The Day to Day
Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management
- Drive market insights and key strategies for growth and competitive differentiation
- Manage the Product Lifecycle Management framework and operating model for cross-company collaboration
- Build a portfolio of profitable products and services/features to support buyer segment current and unmet needs to achieve growth goals and market competitiveness
Patient Acquisition & Activation
- Develop and execute data-driven patient acquisition strategies to drive growth and engagement across target demographics.
- Create integrated marketing campaigns to activate patients and improve retention, using digital marketing and experience, content marketing, and community outreach.
- Lead patient experience and journey mapping with cross functional collaboration to inform and optimize patient, provider and clinical team workflows and satisfaction.
Provider Marketing
- Build and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain high-quality healthcare providers to Strive Health’s network.
- Develop partnerships with providers and healthcare organizations to enhance brand credibility and expand market reach.
- Promote Strive Health’s value proposition to providers, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational objectives.
B2B Marketing
- Lead marketing strategies targeting health plans, payers, and other business partners to expand Strive Health’s market footprint.
- Drive lead generation and business development initiatives, focusing on both acquisition and retention of corporate clients.
- Position Strive Health as an industry leader through innovative thought leadership content and industry partnerships.
Brand Management
- Oversee the development and maintenance of Strive Health’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
- Position Strive Health as a trusted and innovative leader in value-based care and patient-centric healthcare services.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to ensure the brand resonates with target audiences and remains ahead of market trends.
Public Relations (PR) and Communications
- Provide strategic vision and oversight for Strive Health’s PR and communications function, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and brand positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media, industry influencers, and external partners to elevate Strive’s profile in healthcare and business media outlets.
- Provide guidance and support to Director, PR & Communications in developing and executing comprehensive strategies, while setting overall direction and priorities for internal and external communications.
- Oversee high-stakes communications, including crisis communications and reputation management efforts as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
- Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of demonstrated leadership of Product and Marketing teams, including 5+ years as a people leader with significant P&L impact.
- Master’s/MBA Degree in a relevant field preferred.

- Excellent executive-level communication skills, with the ability to lead strategy for profitable growth.
- Proven track record in customer-centric strategies, Provider and B to B marketing, brand management, and PR/communications.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing, diverse team with a strong focus on fostering collaboration and driving results.
- Proven ability to foundationally lead new operating models to foster cross enterprise collaboration.
- Ability to create impact and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Location is flexible with 10 – 25% travel as needed.
Annual Base Salary Range: $173,000 - $225,000
