About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About Missionforce

Missionforce brings the best of Salesforce's AI, cloud, and platform technology to the public sector around the globe, supporting mission-critical workflows for government and defense customers at the tactical, operational, and strategic edge.

About the Role

Missionforce is seeking a Vice President of Product Management who will define and own the product vision and roadmap for Agentforce applications for state & local, federal/central, and defense agencies around the globe, accelerating case management, citizen engagement, and administrative compliance. The VP will serve as a thought leader who sees where the company and the market are heading in order to identify opportunities that no one else is looking at, positioning Missionforce at the forefront.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Agentforce Public Sector applications globally.

  • Extend the portfolio from business mission apps into operational mission apps across Defense, IC, and Aerospace.

  • Champion secure, adaptable capabilities from edge to cloud, ensuring solutions meet the rigorous requirements of government and defense environments.

  • Surface commercial innovations derived from public sector R&D back into Salesforce's broader product portfolio.

  • Lead packaging and pricing strategy to optimize market competitiveness and drive growth across public sector segments.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver and scale solutions.

  • Represent Missionforce product strategy with senior executives, government stakeholders, and strategic partners.

  • Identify and recommend M&A opportunities to accelerate and innovate the product roadmap and delivery. Lead post-acquisition product integration efforts.

  • Serve as an external thought leader, speaking at industry forums, engaging with agency customers and partners, and representing Missionforce's vision.

  • Build and develop a high-performing product management team aligned to Missionforce's mission.

  • Act as an internal educator and change agent, influencing alignment across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations on the unique requirements of public sector software.

Qualifications

  • Strategic product leader with experience driving large-scale, complex product portfolios.

  • Deep knowledge of the government market, spanning defense (DoD/IC/Aerospace) to State & Local — including procurement cycles, compliance requirements, and mission workflows.

  • Direct experience with government procurement, compliance, and security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, ITAR, DoD STIGs)

  • Visionary thinker who can identify where the market is going before others do, and translate that foresight into actionable roadmaps.

  • Operator and executor who can balance long-term strategy with near-term delivery, managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • GM mindset — comfortable influencing pricing, packaging, and business model decisions in addition to core product strategy.

  • M&A experience: ability to evaluate, recommend, and integrate acquisitions that accelerate product capabilities.

  • Exceptional communicator and cross-functional leader who can influence at all levels, from engineering teams to executive stakeholders and government customers.

  • Highly motivated and execution-focused, with a positive and resilient attitude and the ability to navigate challenges that are extremely complex and where solutions are unclear.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce product portfolio (CRM, Data Cloud, Agentforce, MuleSoft, Informatica, Tableau, Slack) or comparable enterprise platform ecosystems.

  • Led AI-first product strategy and execution in partnership with Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE), leveraging OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and emerging agentic AI technologies to rapidly prototype, validate, and deploy customer-driven innovations. Established field-to-product feedback loops.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be eligible to hold a clearance.
