About Windsor Path

Windsor Path is a family office-backed professional services platform building a top 50 tax and advisory firm in the U.S. We partner with growth-minded accounting and tax firms, bringing them capital, infrastructure, and operational support while preserving what makes each firm distinct. We’re not a roll-up looking for a five-year exit. We’re building something durable, and we hire people who think that way.

Our member firms are well-established, partner-led businesses with strong client bases and deep market presence. What Windsor Path brings is the platform: capital, technology, talent infrastructure, and a committed team of operators who help each firm reach its next stage.

The Role

As Vice President of New Partnerships, you will own Windsor Path's deal origination function. You will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and advancing acquisition opportunities through the early stages of our deal process, then handing qualified deals to our execution team for valuation and closing.

You are stepping into an established system. Our CRM (Affinity) is live and populated, our target universe is segmented into priority tiers, and we have active relationships with external BDR firms that generate proprietary deal flow. Your job is to pick up this system, make it your own, and execute at a level that matches our growth ambitions.

You will also manage a junior Business Development Associate who handles high-volume outreach and lead qualification. We expect that you will play a role in hiring this individual.

Responsibilities:

Origination & Pipeline Management

• Own and operate Windsor Path's origination pipeline in Affinity

• Manage relationships with external BDR firms that source proprietary deal flow. Hold them accountable to volume and quality standards.

• Execute multi-channel proprietary outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, conferences) to generate qualified opportunities beyond what the BDR firms produce

• Qualify targets against Windsor Path's investment criteria and prioritize the pipeline accordingly

• Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene, reporting, and KPI delivery on a weekly basis

Deal Advancement

• Lead introductory calls and early-stage conversations with firm owners and partners

• Build trust and communicate Windsor Path's value proposition in a way that resonates with CPA firm owners who may not be actively looking to sell

• Coordinate NDA execution and collection of preliminary financial data from targets

• Spread and organize preliminary financials into a standardized format for handoff to the deal execution team

• Support the deal team in advancing qualified opportunities through the LOI process as needed

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop a junior Business Development Associate focused on high-volume sourcing and outreach

• Set outreach cadence, messaging strategy, and activity targets for the BDR function

• Build repeatable processes and playbooks that scale as the team grows

Market Intelligence

• Represent Windsor Path in the market with integrity, discretion, and professionalism

• Track competitive dynamics: who is acquiring, at what multiples, and how Windsor Path's positioning compares

• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and industry contacts who can surface opportunities

Qualifications:

Required

· 4-7 years of experience in M&A origination, business development, or corporate development at a consolidator, roll-up platform, PE-backed portfolio company, or M&A advisory firm

· Demonstrated track record of sourcing deals that advanced to LOI or close. We will ask for specific numbers.

· Experience with CRM systems (Affinity, DealCloud, Salesforce, or similar) and a strong understanding of pipeline management discipline

· Comfort with cold outreach and relationship-building with business owners who may not be in an active sale process

· Financial literacy sufficient to review a P&L, identify key metrics, and organize preliminary financial data

· Strong written and verbal communication

Preferred

· Experience in professional services M&A, particularly accounting, tax, or advisory firms

· Experience managing or mentoring junior BD team members

· Familiarity with the CPA firm landscape: how firms are structured, what owners care about, the succession planning dynamics that drive transactions

· Prior experience at a consolidator or roll-up platform (Vertex, Alpine, Banyan Software, Constellation Software, or similar models)

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary with meaningful performance-based bonus

• Equity incentive units in Windsor Path

• Full benefits (health insurance, etc.)

• A seat at the table in a high-growth platform at an early stage, with real ownership and influence over how the function is built

• Long-term capital partners who are not managing to a fund timeline

At Windsor Path, we believe great work happens when people feel welcomed, respected, and supported. We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives and encourage everyone to show up as their authentic selves.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. This policy applies equally to applicants regardless of national origin.

To all staffing agencies: Windsor Path does not utilize 3rd party firms for positions. Please be advised, Windsor Path is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes. All unsolicited resumes will become property of Windsor Path.
