Role Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking, revenue-driven VP of Marketing with deep B2B SaaS experience to lead our demand generation, brand, and content strategy. This leader will own marketing’s contribution to enterprise pipeline and revenue supporting complex multi-stakeholder buying cycles, and bring a modern, AI-enabled approach to lead generation and customer engagement.
This role oversees a Director of Digital Marketing (responsible for website, PPC, SEO/SEM) and leads demand generation, lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, events, creative, and content.

What You’ll Own
Revenue & Growth Strategy
- Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute a scalable B2B SaaS growth strategy aligned to ARR goals.
- Optimize CAC, LTV, funnel conversion rates, and pipeline velocity.
- Partner with Sales and Product Marketing leadership to ensure alignment on ICP, account targeting, and pipeline generation.
- Drive predictable, repeatable demand generation systems.
- Build and operationalize account-based marketing (ABM) strategies aligned to high-ACV enterprise targets.
- Partner closely with enterprise sales leadership to support strategic account planning and deal acceleration.
Demand Generation & AI-Enabled Acquisition
- Lead multi-channel demand generation across inbound, outbound, events, ABM, and lifecycle programs.
- Implement AI-driven tools and automation to improve personalization, targeting, content creation, lead scoring, and conversion optimization.
- Experiment with emerging and non-traditional channels to source high-quality leads.
- Oversee marketing funnel performance from awareness through SQL and revenue.
- Ensure tight alignment between marketing programs and the demand generation sales team.
- Design and execute enterprise-focused ABM programs across named accounts and vertical segments.
- Develop integrated marketing plays that support large deal cycles, executive engagement, and field enablement.
Content Strategy & Market Positioning
- Own the company’s content strategy end-to-end — from thought leadership and SEO-driven content to sales enablement and customer education.
- Establish the brand voice and messaging architecture.
- Build content that supports the full buyer journey: awareness, evaluation, decision, retention, and expansion.
- Develop scalable content engines leveraging AI tools without sacrificing quality or differentiation.
- Position the company as a category leader within its market.
Customer Marketing & Lifecycle
- Drive retention, expansion, and advocacy programs.
- Build lifecycle campaigns that increase engagement and product adoption.
- Partner with Account Management to maximize upsell and cross-sell revenue.
Brand & Creative Leadership
- Oversee creative and graphic design to ensure cohesive brand presence.
- Elevate the brand beyond functional messaging to category authority.
- Maintain consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
Digital Strategy Oversight
- Provide strategic leadership to the Director of Digital Marketing.
- Align website, SEO/SEM, and paid media with broader demand generation and content strategy.
- Ensure the website functions as a conversion engine
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of marketing experience, including leadership roles within B2B SaaS and enterprise software environments.
- Proven success marketing into mid-market and enterprise segments with complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics: ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, expansion revenue, pipeline velocity.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for campaign execution, personalization, automation, and content acceleration.
- Strong strategic thinker with hands-on execution instincts.
- Demonstrated ownership of content strategy and brand positioning.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and partnering closely with Sales.
- Data-driven, experimental, and comfortable challenging traditional marketing playbooks.
