The VP of Brand and Communications is responsible for setting the vision and building our brand awareness and comprehension from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role sets the tone and strategy for our global brand, working closely with Product Marketing to drive positioning in the broader market, as well as developing strategy, messaging and momentum within our customer ecosystem.
This role develops key KPIs and scales a team of high-performing marketers across social media, earned media, marketing communications, content and creative. They set goals for the team, and ensure the team collaborates with cross-functional partners to gain further leverage.
This role develops and implements internal and external strategies for the organization to ensure unified, consistent, and positive messages that define and promote our corporate identity and mission. The role will also determine the communications strategy and execute programs that deliver communications objectives throughout Aidoc, ensuring that the public views the organization as the leader in enterprise clinical AI, with a focus on prospective buyers, customers, partners, investors and employees. You will also partner across Aidoc internally to support internal and external communication activities. This role manages all owned and earned channels of communication.

Responsibilities
- Public Relations: Lead the company’s PR strategy, managing external communications and agency partnerships to drive visibility in top-tier media and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Thought Leadership: Create and promote high-impact thought leadership content that reinforces category creation efforts and builds brand credibility with target audiences.
- Brand & Category Marketing: Develop and execute strategic branding campaigns that evangelize Aidoc’s mission, reinforce market leadership, and support category definition and expansion.
- Analyst & Influencer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key analysts and industry influencers; collaborate with Product Marketing on the co-creation of joint marketing assets and thought leadership initiatives.
- Social Media & Community Engagement: Own brand awareness and audience engagement/growth strategy across social channels, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter, driving measurable growth and influence.
- Content Strategy: Develop a rich, multi-format content strategy tailored for multiple stakeholders and optimized for search. Collaborate across departments to ensure consistency and SEO alignment.
- Corporate Messaging: Lead the development and delivery of core company messages and ensure consistency across all communications, including packaging and positioning.
- Events & Experiences: Oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of all external-facing events, including industry trade shows, partner events, and hosted executive experiences. Collaborate with the Product and Growth Marketing teams to ensure events drive pipeline, strengthen brand positioning, and are fully integrated into the broader marketing plan.
- Internal Communications: Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to craft internal communications that drive alignment, culture, and transparency across the organization.
- Customer Marketing: Guide the creation of customer-centric content and ensure alignment with broader communications strategy to build loyalty, retention, and advocacy.
- Online Community: Oversee the strategy for our digital customer community, ensuring meaningful, ongoing engagement with existing users and key stakeholders.
- Website Strategy: Manage the website design and content and ensure the site is optimized for both organic and paid search in collaboration with the Growth Marketing team and our SEO agency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Marketing to craft a unified story across our solution portfolio. Partner with the Innovation Team to create educational content to elevate our expertise and establish Aidoc as a category leader.
- Agency Management: Oversee key agency relationships including public relations, creative, and design partners to ensure output is high-quality, aligned, and brand-consistent.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Master’s Degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in B2B enterprise software
- Outstanding storytelling skills – specifically around category and brand creation and amplification
- Leadership skills and good business acumen
- Strong strategic problem solver with the ability and the skills to see the bigger picture as well as understanding the details across clients and campaigns
- Organizational skills to supervise and implement multiple projects simultaneously to handle priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines
- Meticulous, proactive and takes initiative
