CXponent is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Product Lead to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our proprietary technology platform. This platform is foundational to our competitive advantage, serving both our internal employees (brokers, engagement managers, and analysts) and our external clients.

This role is the end-to-end owner of the platform's success, encompassing core product management, technology integration, roadmap delivery, and critical change management/adoption programs. The successful candidate will directly impact the company's efficiency and ability to scale by ensuring our technology delivers a best-in-class, low-friction experience for the mid-market technology buying journey. This role will also be responsible for building the team over time and championing an AI-first approach to platform development.

What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities)1. Product Strategy & Vision (Roadmap Ownership)
  • Set the Vision: Define a compelling, long-term product vision and strategy for the proprietary technology platform, aligning it with CXponent's overarching business goals
  • Roadmap Management: Own and maintain the end-to-end product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, user needs, and engineering effort. This includes setting detailed, tiered rollout plans for feature delivery.
  • Executive Communication: Communicate the product vision, roadmap, progress, and success metrics clearly and transparently to leadership, internal stakeholders, and the entire employee base.
  • Market Analysis: Serve as the internal expert on technology trends, competitive platforms, and customer pain points to ensure the platform maintains its first-mover advantage and market differentiation.
2. Platform Delivery & Technology Integration
  • Hands-on Delivery & Code Ownership: Act as the primary, hands-on executor for product updates and launches. This includes owning the writing of user stories, backlog grooming, and acceptance testing, as well as being accountable for the delivery of working code, whether through direct development, leveraging AI coding tools, or via external partners.
  • External Resource Management: Select, manage, and drive accountability for external engineering, design, and development partners to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of the roadmap.
  • Team Scaling: Define the hiring plan and build out a dedicated internal product and engineering team as the platform matures and the company scales.
  • Full Product Lifecycle: Manage the platform through all stages, from ideation and requirements definition to launch, optimization, and continual improvement.
  • Internal Tooling: Lead the development of internal tools (e.g., buyer's room, project delivery room) that automate and streamline the brokerage pipeline, reducing friction, administrative time, and cognitive load for employees, ultimately allowing them to handle a higher volume of deals.
  • External Experience & Web Properties: Oversee the creation of external-facing features, such as the public marketplace and self-service advisory tools, designed to attract inbound traffic and generate qualified leads. This includes the overall management, development, and integration of the main company website and websites for various related companies/entities.
  • Tech Stack Integration: Be responsible for the integration of the proprietary platform with other critical tools in the revenue tech stack (e.g., HubSpot, Google Workspace, Zoom) to ensure seamless data flow, process continuity, and a unified workflow across the organization.
3. Program Management & Change Adoption
  • Change Management: Design and oversee comprehensive change management and user training programs to drive high adoption and correct usage of all new technology features across all relevant teams (Sales, Service, M&A targets).
  • Enablement: Partner with the Revenue Operations/Growth Marketing Lead to ensure technological capabilities are properly leveraged to improve the client interaction model, aligning with the core value proposition that people and process are enhanced, not replaced, by technology.
  • Feedback Loops: Establish robust mechanisms for gathering user feedback (internal and external) to continuously prioritize improvements and ensure the platform is meeting the needs of the business.
What Success Looks Like (Key Performance Indicators)

Success in this role will be directly measured by the impact of the platform on core business drivers:

  • Lead Generation: Growth in the number and quality of inbound leads ($/Volume).
  • Sales Velocity: Reduction in the average length a deal is in the brokerage pipeline.
  • Broker Efficiency: Increase in the number of deals a broker, engagement manager, and analyst can handle simultaneously.
  • User Adoption: Successful/measurable adoption of the platform internally and externally.
  • Client Satisfaction: Improve satisfaction of the technology buying journey as measured by NPS
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Website/Web Application Development with 3+ years in a Product Leadership role
  • Proven experience leading products that serve both internal (operational/efficiency) and external (client-facing/revenue) stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to set a clear product roadmap and deliver complex technical projects on time in an agile environment.
  • Commercial and Revenue Focus: Proven experience in generating inbound leads, converting opportunities, or significantly enabling the sales process (e.g., inbound marketing, GTM strategy, and funnel optimization).
  • AI and Emerging Technology Mindset: Proven experience or strong interest in leveraging GenAI to build differentiated product capabilities and create meaningful operational efficiencies.
  • Web Property Ownership: Direct experience in managing, developing, or overseeing the strategy & performance of public-facing, revenue-generating websites.
  • Resource Management: Experience successfully managing and delivering projects with external development, agency, or contractor teams.
  • Team Building/Mentorship: Experience in or a strong desire to hire, mentor, and grow a product team from the ground up.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience integrating disparate systems and enterprise tools (e.g., CRM, Marketing Automation, Project Management).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, strategic presentations for executive leadership and broad employee audiences.
  • Prior experience in Change Management or program governance, focused on driving user adoption of new technology.
  • Experience in the technology brokerage/consulting/advisory industry is strongly desired. Experience in B2B services more broadly is highly desirable.
