We’re hiring a full-time Vice President, Technology Governance & Business Engagement
to work at our 41 Montebello Location.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Vice President, Technology Governance & Business Engagement leads technology governance, business engagement, enterprise communication, portfolio coordination, and regional partnership across Health Solutions. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the VP translates business and clinical priorities into clear recommendations, coordinated decisions, and aligned technology initiatives while leading governance, portfolio, and stakeholder engagement functions that support organizational priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Vice President, Technology Governance & Business Engagement, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will:
- Executive partnership and communication: Support the CTO in maintaining strong partnerships with business and clinical executives; clarify needs, outcomes, risks, and tradeoffs; and ensure coordinated, timely communication and meaningful feedback between Technology Services, enterprise leaders, and operational teams.
- Governance and decision support: Lead technology intake, governance, and escalation within the framework approved by the CTO; enable decisions at the lowest appropriate level and elevate matters involving strategy, significant investment, material risk, or unresolved executive conflict.
- Portfolio leadership: Maintain visibility across the enterprise technology portfolio; recommend priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs; and clarify delivery ownership, business accountability, and Technology Services requirements for approved initiatives.
- Enterprise and regional alignment: Lead regional technology business engagement and coordinate enterprise and regional priorities, roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and justified exceptions; resolve matters within delegated authority and escalate those requiring changes to strategy, funding, risk acceptance, or executive commitments.
- Execution and outcomes: Coordinate strategic initiatives with accountable business, clinical, and Technology Services leaders; support readiness, adoption, benefit realization, and transition to operations while preserving assigned delivery and operational accountability.
- Growth and integration: Coordinate business engagement and technology governance for authorized affiliations, joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations; work with Technology Services leaders to assess technical needs and provide executive leaders and governance bodies with clear assessments of risks, costs, dependencies, readiness, and transition options.
- Team leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for governance, business engagement, portfolio coordination, enterprise communication, and regional partnership; set clear responsibilities, decision boundaries, and performance expectations; develop leadership capability and remove barriers to execution.
- Executive reporting: Provide the Executive Leadership Team and other authorized leaders with concise, fact-based reporting and recommendations on portfolio performance, priorities, tradeoffs, risks, capacity, funding needs, enterprise feedback, corrective actions, and decisions required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Frequent use of computers, mobile devices, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through virtual meeting technologies.
- Ability to review and interpret reports, presentations, budgets, and strategic planning documents.
- Occasional travel to regional, corporate, and operational locations.
- Ability to move between meeting locations and business environments as needed to support organizational objectives.

- Competitive pay: $150,000.00 to 165,000.00 Annually (Dependent on experience, certification, and education)

What we’re looking for—The Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Progressive leadership experience in a healthcare provider, integrated clinical network, or comparably regulated multi-site organization.
- Demonstrated success advising executive business and clinical leaders and supporting governance bodies with clear recommendations.
- Experience leading technology governance, ideation, demand and request intake, portfolio prioritization, enterprise and regional alignment, and executive reporting.
- Ability to translate business and clinical needs into coordinated technology options, tradeoffs, risks, costs, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, develop leaders, resolve cross-boundary friction, facilitate difficult decisions, and communicate clearly with executives.
What we’d Like to See in you—the Nice-to-Haves
- Experience supporting technology due diligence, acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures, divestitures, or organizational integrations.
- Advanced degree or relevant professional certification.
