The Vice President, Supply Chain for Space, Defense, & National Security is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and scalable delivery aligned with company objectives.
The position reports to the segment EVP, Operations and is based in the Denver Metro Area, CO area. This role is onsite.
In this role, the essential functions are:
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain organization, setting vision, strategy, and execution aligned with company objectives and growth targets
- Define and implement short- and long-term supply chain strategies to drive operational excellence and scalability
- Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, qualification, and performance management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliability and continuity of supply
- Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels while reducing overall cost
- Establish and drive demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization processes to meet production and customer requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks; develop contingency and continuity plans for critical materials and operations
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Business Development, Programs, Production, and Quality to align supply chain with business and customer needs
- Drive adoption and optimization of ERP/MRP systems and leverage data analytics to improve visibility, decision-making, and performance
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the supply chain

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or related functions
- 10+ years of leadership experience in senior level supply chain roles
- Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries and related industry quality and regulatory standards
- Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution
- Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Experience sourcing complex components and managing global supply bases
- Background working with government contracts or regulated procurement environments
- Proven success scaling supply chains in high-growth or production ramp environments
- Advanced knowledge of global logistics, trade compliance, and customs regulations
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 35%, including the possibility of overnights within our various company locations.
The good faith base salary range for this role is $240,000 - $290,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
