Job Description

Compensation: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00. Plus a potential bonus

The base compensation range for this role is fixed, with a maximum cap of $225,000.00. We want to be transparent about this as we continue discussions.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5PM, (MUST LIVE IN THE EASTERN OR CENTRAL TIME ZONE TO BE CONSIDERED).

Graham Healthcare Group is hiring a Vice President, Strategy Execution & Transformation Office (SETO) to join our dynamic team. The VP SETO will be responsible for translating Graham Healthcare Group’s long-range strategy into a focused, sequenced, and executable portfolio of enterprise priorities, and helping ensure those priorities result in meaningful, sustained organizational change.

Vice President, Strategy Execution & Transformation Office (SETO) Job Responsibilities:

  • This role leads SETO and serves as the single point of accountability for the overall strategic initiative portfolio.
  • The VP SETO ensures the portfolio works as a whole: the right initiatives are being pursued, in the right order, with the appropriate resources, dependencies, and organizational capacity considered.
  • The VP SETO works closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to maintain alignment around priorities, surface tradeoffs, and drive timely decisions.
  • The role has meaningful authority over SETO sequencing, resourcing, and portfolio management and is expected to resolve competing priorities within the team before elevating broader enterprise decisions to the CEO or appropriate executive forum.
  • As SETO evolves, the role is also expected to provide leadership for Strategic Communications, bringing strategy execution, change management, and enterprise communications together under a coordinated leadership model.
  • Success is measured by whether SETO helps the organization stay focused on its most important strategic priorities, execute them effectively, achieve adoption, and realize the intended outcomes.
  • Other key responsibilities will fall under the areas of Strategic Portfolio Leadership, Executive Partnership & Governance, Enterprise Execution & Transformation, Organizational Alignment & Influence, and SETO Team Leadership.

Vice President, Strategy Execution & Transformation Office (SETO) Measures of Success:

Success will be evaluated based on SETO's ability to help Graham translate strategy into measurable organizational results, including,

  • Strategic roadmap initiatives delivered against agreed commitments.
  • Strategic initiatives appropriately mapped, prioritized, and tiered against the long-range plan.
  • Effective decisions to continue, stop, redirect, or resequence work as priorities and conditions change.
  • Adoption and sustainment of strategic changes after implementation.
  • Progress against the financial, operational, clinical, workforce, or other outcomes initiatives were designed to influence.
  • Governance discussions that produce timely decisions, clear accountability, and resolution of issues.
  • Strong working relationships and credibility with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, functional leaders, and initiative sponsors.
  • Clear, consistent communication and organizational understanding of Graham’s strategic direction and major transformation priorities.
  • Development of a capable, high-performing SETO team and, over time, an integrated Strategic Communications capability.

VP SETO Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations, Organizational Leadership, or a related field REQUIRED (advanced Degree a PLUS).
  • Approximately 10+ years of progressive experience across strategy execution, transformation, operations, consulting, program leadership, or related disciplines, with experience leading complex cross-functional work.
  • Experience managing multiple significant initiatives or a portfolio of work involving competing priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into executable plans, priorities, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Experience working directly with Senior Executives and facilitating discussions involving difficult tradeoffs, competing priorities, and organizational decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and levels of an organization, including situations where direct reporting authority does not exist.
  • Experience leading and developing teams and partnering effectively with specialized functions such as communications, change management, finance, HR, technology, or operations.
  • Working knowledge of organizational change management and the factors required to drive adoption and sustainment.
  • Healthcare experience PREFERRED but not required (experience in another complex, multi-site, regulated, or service-based organization may also translate well).
  • Must also possess the following leadership capabilities: Enterprise perspective; Sound judgment; Executive communication; Strategic-to-operational thinking; Decision orientation; Influence and alignment; Change leadership; Portfolio discipline; Talent leadership.
