The Role: Vice President, SalesAs Vice President, Sales, you will lead strategic revenue growth across Switch's largest hyperscale and enterprise customers. This executive individual contributor role is responsible for expanding long-term customer partnerships, developing executive relationships, and positioning Switch as the preferred provider of mission-critical digital infrastructure.
You will lead complex, high-value sales pursuits from opportunity development through contract execution while partnering closely with executive leadership, Solutions Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Product teams. Success in this role requires strong commercial judgment, technical credibility, and the ability to align customer business objectives with scalable infrastructure solutions.
This role may either base remotely or in our new Dallas corporate office.
What You'll Do-
Develop and execute strategic account plans for Switch's largest hyperscale and enterprise customers.

Own revenue growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts while identifying new opportunities for expansion.

Build trusted executive relationships with customer decision-makers and key stakeholders.

Lead complex, multi-year sales opportunities involving colocation, power, connectivity, and mission-critical infrastructure solutions.

Develop account strategies that align customer growth plans with Switch's long-term business objectives.

Manage complex commercial negotiations through contract execution.

Prepare and deliver executive presentations, business cases, proposals, and commercial recommendations.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and opportunity reporting.

Partner with Solutions Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and executive leadership throughout the sales process.

Represent Switch during executive briefings, customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and customer trends to identify emerging business opportunities.

Support strategic alliances, ecosystem partnerships, and business development initiatives that strengthen Switch's market position.

Required
-
10+ years of enterprise or hyperscale technology sales experience.

Experience managing strategic enterprise or hyperscale customer relationships.

Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-year sales engagements.

Experience selling data center, colocation, digital infrastructure, cloud, telecommunications, or mission-critical technology solutions.

Strong understanding of consultative solution selling within complex technical environments.

Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and negotiate strategic commercial agreements.

Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership.

Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and executive communication skills.

Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred

Experience supporting hyperscale cloud providers or large enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Experience developing strategic alliances or partner ecosystems.

Experience designing complex infrastructure solutions for hyperscale customers.

Familiarity with cloud, connectivity, telecommunications, power, or digital infrastructure markets.

Travel Requirements-
Regular travel is required, including overnight and multi-day travel.
