The following locations in the Southeast region are approved remote working locations for this role: Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.  
What You'll Do: 
As the Vice President of Sales, Enterprise, you will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, SVP of Sales and the executive leadership team in developing and executing Ministry Brands' growth strategy specific to our largest enterprise target organizations. The Vice President of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for company sales bookings performance, employee productivity, and the application of the overall sales strategy in our Protestant, Diocesan and Donor Management Enterprise sales teams. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of expanding leadership and high performing sales teams. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Build, manage, support, and monitor the sales team. Manage team development, cultivate individual talents, and build strong relationships that facilitate team success. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. 
  • Manage, coach, and lead improvements in opportunity execution including qualification, forecasting, and sales rigor while implementing and enforcing Ministry Brands sales disciplines including pipeline management and providing the leadership necessary to assist the sales team in the development/progress of leads and top of funnel opportunity management. 
  • Develop and manage a high-performance sales team, drive enterprise growth, and provide strategic insight for the expansion of the business. Design monthly and annual sales goals to align incentives.  
  • Drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments. 
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Develop operating metrics to measure productivity and growth initiatives. 
  • Act as a liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity and growth. Implement and manage operational plans. 
  • Provide vision, goal clarity, and transparency to employees, customers, and partners through effective communications. 
  • Inspire and drive product roadmap by listening to the market and our customers’ needs. Develop pricing strategies to drive earnings growth. Monitor customer adoption and feedback. Ensure the quality of products. 
  • Drive market awareness and interest in our suite of products and services. Develop a healthy pipeline for sales and provide insights to increase velocity and the effectiveness of marketing programs. Measure and manage ROI targets. 
  • Design the optimal process for customer renewals, including the right combination of the onboarding experience, software utilization tracking, and contract terms Deliver a predictable forecasting methodology to understand leading indicators of the health and growth of the business and highlight areas for focused attention. 
  • Achieve overall bookings targets relative to budget and forecast. 
  • Enterprise Sales Motion – will build a team selling and enterprise sales motion within the Enterprise churches including Protestant, Catholic Diocesan and Donor Management businesses, lifting account executive skills in building relationship capital in capturing large, six figure deals. 
  • Human Resources - organize recruitment and placement of required staff. Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance. 
  • Work with industry influencers and partners to position products in the marketplace. 
Who You Are: 
  • Passionate about developing and motivating people and building a world-class team and helping purpose driven organizations  
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 8+ years of experience in senior sales leadership or related fields 
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales processes and teams 
  • High energy, driven, mentor with the ability to establish instant credibility and rapport Action-oriented leader with a high sense of urgency and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach Open, engaging leader who inspires others, listens well, and has a high EQ 
  • Proven history of successfully driving sales: ability to create a repeatable process with measurable results 
  • Knowledge of non-profit and faith-based industries and the nuances of selling enterprise level engagements in the markets 
  • Ability to implement best practices and processes that scale 
  • Track record of consistently improving a company’s win rate 
  • Experience managing growth both organically and through acquisition 
  • Outstanding communication skills: effective communicator with the ability to articulate a clear vision and value proposition 
  • Strong executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate sales performance to the Executive team 
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices 
  • Ability to “make things happen”, have a demonstrated track record of fast decision making, detail orientation, results orientated, and high energy 
Physical Considerations: 
  • Ability to work in a general office environment 
  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone 
Travel Considerations: 
  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 25%
