POSITION PROFILE

This global VP role leads Software Global Planning & Marketing, Production Inkjet Hardware Global Marketing, and Global Business Development across the RGC portfolio. The position owns end‑to‑end software strategy, aligning product planning, development, and commercialization, while providing strategic market input to hardware development and leading global go‑to‑market execution. A key focus is accelerating Production Inkjet growth through demand generation, pipeline expansion, and customer value realization, while supporting adjacent markets. The role drives strategic partnerships, pricing direction, and portfolio influence, while acting as a senior spokesperson and collaborating closely with regions, engineering, and executive stakeholders to deliver business performance and innovation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and align three global functions: Software Global Planning & Marketing, Production Inkjet Hardware Global Marketing, and Global Business Development across the RGC portfolio
  • Own end-to-end strategy for Software global planning and marketing, integrating product planning, development alignment (primarily Boulder-based), and commercialization
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with primary focus on Production Inkjet by driving structured demand-generation programs, pipeline growth, and print volume expansion, while contributing to growth opportunities across key RGC markets including cutsheet toner, industrial printing, and additive manufacturing
  • [MODIFIED] Provide strategic, customer-driven input to hardware product planning and development as a key stakeholder, and lead global marketing and go-to-market enablement to ensure successful product launches, regional adoption, and measurable contribution to unit sales and revenue targets.
  • [MODIFIED] Collaborate across regional GTM, sales, and engineering teams to drive execution, market penetration, and achievement of unit sales, revenue, and marginal profit objectives across all RGC products.
  • Partner closely with the Co-Innovation team to accelerate development of new solutions and business models
  • Provide strategic input to global portfolio strategy, influencing product selection decisions (develop, buy, partner, invest) and lifecycle direction in alignment with CP-BD business management
  • Establish pricing guidance and value positioning frameworks to support regional competitiveness and revenue growth
  • Lead global product launch readiness and execution from RCL to regions
  • Design and scale repeatable global business development programs (e.g., customer events, workshops, best-practice sharing) to drive qualified demand, customer engagement, and upsell opportunities across regions
  • Develop and manage worldwide third-party partnerships and alliances, including vendor negotiations and closing portfolio gaps through external solutions
  • Provide input to RCL for budget planning and guide R&D investment allocation aligned with strategic priorities and expected returns
  • Drive inventory optimization and commercial effectiveness through participation in global governance forums
  • Act as global spokesperson and subject matter expert for Production Inkjet and broader RGC solutions, reinforcing leadership in automation, production innovation, and solution differentiation across customer, partner, and industry engagements
  • Responsible for supporting the Global Sales Division through the effective management of marketing operations, event execution, and budget/expense governance.  
  • Work cross-functionally with regional sales, marketing communications, finance, and event teams to ensure alignment with go-to-market strategies, efficient resource utilization, and high-impact customer engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee expense planning, forecasting, and reporting in partnership with GOS and regional Finance
  • Provide visibility through regular reporting dashboards on spend vs. plan and ROI in coordination of GOS department and CPD and Regional Sales Leaders 
  • Own clear accountability for enabling and supporting regional achievement of unit sales, revenue, and marginal profit targets, with particular focus on Production Inkjet and Digital Services (DS).
  • Engage with analysts, consultants, and press in collaboration with PR and marketing communications
  • Partner with procurement and development to deliver competitive, world-class solutions and supplier strategies

  • Production Inkjet revenue growth and pipeline expansion 
  • Demand generation effectiveness (qualified leads and program ROI) 
  • Customer expansion through increased print volume and upsell success 
  • Product launch execution and regional adoption performance 
  • Strategic impact from partnerships, pricing, and portfolio influence

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • BS (Minimum). Master’s degree desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the industry

  • Proven ability to build, lead, and sustain strategic relationships and partnerships across global, cross-functional environments

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to align, motivate, and drive performance across diverse global teams
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize complex technical, market, and financial information into clear business recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentation, storytelling, and written communication
  • Ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed, global organizations with high levels of accountability and influence
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational execution

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of   temperature and noise level. 
  • Work assignments are diversified.  Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction – prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
  • Minimal physical effort required.  Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs.  (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity – regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.
