Tract Capital has introduced two digital infrastructure strategies. The first is a horizontal powered land strategy focused on creating master planned data center campuses called Tract. The second is the mega-campus vertical development strategy called Fleet Data Centers.


Position Overview:

The Vice President of Finance will oversee financial strategy, reporting, and analysis across Tract Capital’s real estate investment, development, and operating platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and insightful financial analysis to support acquisitions, development, asset management, and capital markets activities.


The VP of Finance will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, working closely with investment, development, accounting, tax, and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead long term financial planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis across closed ended real estate funds
  • Develop financial models and performance metrics to support decision-making
  • Build and scale finance processes and systems appropriate for a growing real estate platform
  • Partner with investment and development teams to support acquisitions, underwriting, dispositions, development budgets, and capital planning
  • Partner with IR on long term cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and liquidity planning
  • Support capital markets activities, including financings, refinancings, and investor reporting
  • Manage relationships with lenders, investors, auditors, and external advisors


Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Prior experience within real estate investment, development, private equity real estate, or a family office with significant real estate holdings
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
  • Real estate finance and reporting: 8–10+ years
  • Financial modeling and underwriting: 7+ years


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large-scale development or infrastructure-adjacent real estate
  • Background spanning both investment and operating environments
  • Experience scaling finance functions within a growing real estate platform


Expected Salary Range: $200-250K plus bonus potential
