A Vertical Sales Specialist for Reliable Onsite Services (ROS) is assigned to a defined district or multiple districts driving profitable revenue for a product, application or vertical customer segment. Responsible for growing product or vertical revenue in partnership with local territory Outside Sales Reps (OSR). Drive the total value proposition of Reliable Onsite Services (ROS), coordinate large projects with technical complexity with opportunities for the full scope of ROS offerings. As a subject matter expert for product or vertical: will train, lead and mentor OSRs in partnership with District Manager.

What you'll do:

  • Working with Field Sales team to discover projects related to specific

  • product or vertical

  • Utilization of SFDC entering, tracking and closing related project

  • opportunities

  • Attending Pre-bid meetings, representing United Rentals Reliable Onsite Services by working closely with contractors bidding work

  • Attending pre-construction meetings to communicate project details and “hand off” project to Operations Management

  • Design of Solutions with support from Branch Operations and Field Sales

  • Submittal of system solutions to bidding contractors

  • Close win opportunities in Construction/Infrastructure markets

  • Change order submittal

  • Mentor Outside Sales Reps on ROS product offerings in specific vertical

  • Liaison between customer and operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Minimum of 7 years sales and/or sales and operations management experience

  • Portable sanitation and temporary fence experience preferred

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office (specifically Word, and Excel)

  • Strong sales and customer service skills

  • Understanding of business accounting principles and P&L profitability; business acumen

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to effectively train, motivate and influence all levels of the sales/management organization

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and collaboration skills

  • Up to 50% overnight travel

Compensation Range:

$99,415.00 - $164,035.00
