This role stands out because it offers the opportunity to build and shape the finance function of a high-growth healthcare market research company, while partnering closely with executive leadership to influence strategic decisions.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Collaborate with VP Accounting and cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial insights and support the company’s transition to a product-driven platform.
  • Develop and implement scalable accounting processes, reporting frameworks, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency across the organization.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements, while supporting strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
  • Engage as part of a global finance department, partnering with counterparts in the UK and India to drive best practices and solve complex problems.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four, fostering accountability, continuous learning, and high performance across the Finance function.
  • Monitor cash balances and support liquidity management to ensure adequate funding across US and international entities.
  • Support the CFO and VP Accounting in preparing and maintaining short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Support banking administration, foreign currency management, and intercompany funding needs.
  • Oversee and review weekly AP and AR activities to maintain strong working capital discipline.
  • Oversee payroll processing and related compliance, partnering with HR to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient payroll operations across all geographies.
  • Administer and ensure compliance for the company’s travel & expense (T&E) platform (e.g., Expensify).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proactive accounting leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to balance hands-on detail orientation with providing meaningful financial insights to support the business.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including controllership roles; prior experience in SaaS, healthcare, or high-growth environments preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving financial integrity, building scalable processes, and delivering timely, accurate reporting under US GAAP.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in dynamic, fast-changing environments while partnering effectively across executive and operational teams.
  • Experienced audit leader, with a history of managing annual audits.
  • Experience using Sage Intacct (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), and Expensify (T&E), plus strong Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience managing banking activities, including cash management and forecasting.
  • Ownership of month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement across reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA required.
  • Bonus Points for: Public accounting background, exposure to ASC 606 implementations and accounting for acquisitions under ASC 805.

Why Konovo?

  • Work on cutting-edge AI-powered solutions and industry leading services that transform healthcare insights.
  • Be part of a mission-driven company that is revolutionizing healthcare decision-making.
  • Join a fast-growing global team with career advancement opportunities.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, remote work environment that values innovation and flexibility.
  • Make a real-world impact by helping healthcare organizations innovate faster.
