Job Summary:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of a core part of the company’s financial reporting. This role manages all of the accounting functions, maintains internal controls, and partners with Capital Markets, Treasury, Operations, and IT.
Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for precision and leadership? We’re looking for a Controller to join our team and oversee all accounting for our growing global factoring business.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Lead financial reporting and ensure US GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounting for purchased receivables, including settlements and collections, as well as credit line and foreign currency hedges
- Collaborate with Operations and IT to optimize existing processes, controls, and reports associated with the factoring platform and data flows from the platform into the accounting system
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning for potential platform and accounting system transformations
- Report to CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
- Seamlessly partner with other stakeholders internally
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s in accounting or finance (CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Background in factoring, asset-based lending, or financial services
- Prior experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment owned by PE or VC
- Process improvement or systems implementation experience
- Fund accounting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Compensation Package:
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $210,000 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and employee performance. We are committed to transparent and competitive pay practices.
