If you’re curious, love helping people learn, and can turn complex software and workflows into clear, engaging learning experiences, keep reading!

Grant Street Group is a growing SaaS provider to public sector clients. From tax processing to electronic payments, we build tools that help government work better.

We’re looking for a Training Program Manager to own and evolve our training ecosystem for internal teams and clients. This person will define our training roadmap, lead and define projects from scoping through delivery, prioritize audiences and topics, measure training impact and success, and keep training aligned with product changes and operational needs

What you’ll do:

Lead and maintain the training program:
  • Own the training roadmap across internal and client audiences.

  • Build and maintain a clear training catalog so teams understand what exists, what’s next, and how training supports broader initiatives.

  • Keep the training ecosystem healthy by updating, improving, or retiring content as needs change.

  • Identify needs and set priorities:
  • Assess training needs and identify skill or knowledge gaps across teams and client groups.

  • Prioritize audiences, topics, and formats based on business goals, risk, and impact.

  • Manage a backlog of training requests and align stakeholders on scope, timing, and success criteria.

  • Design and deliver effective training:
  • Design learner-centered training grounded in adult learning principles and real-world workflows, including train-the-trainer models, client-facing training, onboarding programs, or implementation training.

  • Gather information from subject matter experts, documentation, and demos, then turn it into clear, structured content.

  • Select the right delivery method based on the audience, goals, and constraints.

  • Measure impact:
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators to determine what’s working and where to iterate.

  • Share training metrics and roadmap progress with stakeholders, and use results to improve the program.

  • Make plans, timelines, and status visible so teams know how to engage with training.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Are comfortable managing a complex, varied training roadmap and set clear priorities rooted in business needs.

  • Love learning and ramp up quickly with new tools, systems, and domains.

  • Synthesize information well and separate what learners actually need to know and how to present it.

  • Communicate clearly and adapt your style to explain complex topics in simple, approachable language.

  • Sweat the small stuff and care about structure, consistency, and quality.

  • Are energized by improving existing programs and bringing fresh ideas to how training is structured, standardized, and scaled —and creating repeatable practices that make it easier for others to create and deliver great training.

  • Are comfortable facilitating live sessions and adjusting in real time based on learner needs and feedback.

  • Build strong working relationships and enjoy collaborating with subject matter experts, leaders, and peers.

Qualifications:

We expect a strong candidate to bring many, though not necessarily all, of the following:
  • 3–7 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or learning and development, ideally in software, technology, or another complex process environment.
  • Experience owning or co-owning a training program or curriculum across multiple audiences and products.

  • Demonstrated success in auditing, improving, and scaling an existing training program.

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and experience applying them in design, facilitation, and evaluation.

  • Experience using an LMS, such as TalentLMS or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with e-learning design, content creation tools, and basic screen capture, image, or video tools.

  • Proven ability to use data to measure training effectiveness and improve program design and delivery.

  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
