SUMMARY:

The Training Development Specialist will provide hands-on training for new hourly and entry-level Titles employees and ongoing guidance to staff. This person will maintain existing training resources, verify process updates with DMVs and lenders, and support daily department needs. The role will also use DMV rejection trends to identify training opportunities and help reduce repeat errors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Deliver hands-on training to new hourly and entry-level employees on Titles processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Answer staff questions and guide employees to accurate, current resource
  • Update existing training materials, PDFs, and spreadsheets to reflect verified process changes.
  • Contact DMVs and lenders to clarify requirements and validate updates.
  • Host monthly staff meetings to address questions, review changes, and reinforce procedures. - Manage the department’s shared email chain, including responding to requests to locate files or confirming whether titles are in-house, routing requests as needed, and reviewing DMV and lender updates.
  • Scan daily rejected DMV paperwork into the system and log rejections in the existing spreadsheet. - Identify recurring rejection reasons, share trends with management, and incorporate findings into training and employee guidance.
  • Complete assigned projects and department support tasks related to training, process accuracy, and employee access to information.
 
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong experience with automotive titles and DMV processes.
  • Training experience is preferred, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and patiently.
  • Strong people skills and a supportive, approachable manner.
  • Computer and technology proficiency, including working with PDFs, spreadsheets, email, and document systems.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to process changes, and manage competing daily priorities.
  • Sound judgment in researching information, verifying accuracy, and escalating questions when needed.

COMPENSATION
The position pays an annual salary of $65,000.
