The Opportunity

This position will be based in the Central Region of the US (preferably in Denver, CO – other acceptable locations in central region would be Northern California or Salt Lake City, Utah).   Are you ready to energize your career in a role that powers the future? How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Build and expand relationships with key Grid Automation customers
  • Lead strategic account planning and pipeline development
  • Represent a full portfolio of grid automation products and services
  • Deliver insights and guidance to customers navigating complex solutions
  • Collaborate across teams to execute impactful sales strategies
  • Attend industry events and represent Hitachi Energy’s thought leadership
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Engage in critical project touchpoints and escalate when needed
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience to the role.  Additionally, candidate with an Associate’s degree or High School Diploma (GED) will be considered based upon the specifics of the experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or grid automation required
  • Proven technical selling aptitude in energy or adjacent industries
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • High percentage of travel will be required
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
