You'll own account strategy, champion growth initiatives, and represent the Vibram brand as a key partner in delivering industry-leading performance outsole solutions.

If you're energized by relationship building, innovation, and helping brands create exceptional products, we'd love to hear from you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive revenue growth across the Central region by developing and executing strategic sales plans for both new and existing accounts.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across product, design, development, sourcing, and leadership teams within customer organizations.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities while expanding partnerships with existing accounts.
  • Own account strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and long-term growth planning to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning Vibram's technologies, compounds, and innovation capabilities with their product and business goals.
  • Partner closely with Vibram's global design, development, innovation, and manufacturing teams to deliver customized soling solutions.
  • Guide customers through the entire product creation journey, from initial concept and briefing through development, validation, and commercialization.
  • Lead customer engagement throughout key project milestones, including kickoffs, product reviews, development meetings, and critical decision points.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution across all stages of development.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies, product roadmaps, market positioning, and growth objectives to uncover new opportunities.
  • Champion the adoption of Vibram technologies, materials, and innovations across strategic accounts and product categories.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, consumer insights, and emerging technologies within the footwear, outdoor, and performance markets.
  • Represent Vibram at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, athlete activations, and brand experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, meet performance expectations, and support customer success.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, customer records, and opportunity tracking within CRM and SAP systems.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on sales performance, pipeline health, customer activity, and key strategic initiatives.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer relationships, business development, and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role within the footwear, outdoor, sporting goods, or adjacent industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the footwear product creation lifecycle, including design, development, sourcing, and commercialization.
  • Experience collaborating with footwear brands, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive results across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
