The Target Pay Range for this position is as follows:

• Loveland, Colorado: $65,000 - $81,000 annually.
• Carlsbad, California: $74,000 - $82,000 annually.

At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Job Purpose/Overview

The Customer Support Technical Training & Onboarding Specialist delivers on the Antech Customer Service Vision of unwavering commitment to empathetic and caring veterinary diagnostic support via the Support Enablement Team. The Onboarding & Training Specialist designs, develops, implements, and maintains multi-modal learning solutions for specific Customer Support teams. Instructional content includes but is not limited to printed materials, e-learning modules, video-based scenarios, virtual learning courses, training videos, hands-on learning, and social learning/networking activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments and performance gap analysis to identify skill, knowledge, and workflow opportunities across supported Customer Support teams.
  • Design, build, and continuously improve curriculum and training content using a variety of formats (instructor-led, digital, job aids, hands-on application, and multimedia learning tools).
  • Serve as a content expert by developing a deep understanding of team workflows, systems, and tools in order to translate complex processes into clear, practical training.
  • Create hands-on, real-world training experiences that build learner confidence, competence, and consistency on the job.
  • Manage multiple training projects simultaneously from concept through delivery, including planning, documentation, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills while navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving team needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Support Enablement partners and cross-functional teams to identify training needs and align training release strategies.
  • Communicate with radical candor—providing clear, direct, and empathetic guidance to learners and partners.
  • Approach training with curiosity, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset to ensure learning solutions are practical and effective.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation for all Customer Support associates receiving onboarding and continued education.
  • Provide training on call-center phone etiquette, workflows, and role-specific processes for Customer Support teams when applicable.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, workflows, and team needs to keep training relevant and impactful.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Veterinary Diagnostics and/or Imaging

Preferred:

  • Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Experience as an Instructional Trainer and/or Teacher
  • Experience creating digital content for training or other purposes
  • BS/BA degree in related field, or combination of education and industry experience

  • Exceptional communication skills across verbal, written, and virtual formats, with the ability to clearly explain complex information in a way that inspires action and supports customer needs.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and high-quality training content and communications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content creation with the ability to design clear, engaging, and effective training materials across multiple formats (instructor-led, digital, job aids, and hands-on learning tools).
  • Ability to create, maintain, and improve clear documentation including SOPs, training plans, job aids, process guides, and project materials that support consistent learning and knowledge retention.
  • Organizational strength and adaptability to effectively shift between tasks, priorities, team needs, and business demands.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and successfully manage multiple training initiatives, timelines, and deliverables at the same time without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, define problems, gather information, and make thoughtful, practical recommendations.
  • Ability to create meaningful learning experiences that accommodate a variety of working styles and learning preferences.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to technology with the ability to quickly learn, implement, and apply new systems, tools, and platforms to training solutions.

Travel

Travel requirements could be up to 25% of the time with peaks and valleys throughout the year.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations, and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, Microsoft Teams, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment/resources such as Canva, video editing software, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Environment where pets are present.
